I see no mistakes she made. She was one of the greats and never will be another one like her.

It's nothing to write home about but she starts to do the kick sequence early and corrects herself instantly. It's not that pros don't make mistakes it's that they know how to fix them.

What about that Debbie? She is absolutely luminous in this number. She and her partners are in perfect synch throughout. Did Debbie Reynolds work hard? Oh, I think she worked VERY hard - and, boy, did it pay off!

If this wasn’t a fantastic enough gym to find, hearing the “Ann Miller taught me that!” Added even more charm, If possible…. And they’re actually wearing taps and creating their sounds live 😍

Debbie was certainly a pro. I don't think she ever suffered from stage fright. No one owned a stage or was more comfortable up there, or enjoyed it more than her. Some entertainers you get nervous for. Never Debbie though. You knew she was in her element from the moment she came out and lit up the stage with her presence. There are two entertainers, that when I watch here on youtube, I find myself smiling...it just happens. Those two are Dean Martin and Debbie Reynolds.

Actually, Ms. Reynolds did a good deal of dancing onstage and television after her MGM years. She had major dance numbers in Irene, Annie Get Your Gun, her own nightclub act, the revival of The Unsinkable Molly Brown and she even had an extended dance inserted into her short stint as the final star of Woman of the Year on Broadway. She was an excellent dancer and, contrary to the stories she tells, she had had about three years of dance training before she was cast in Singin' in the Rain and had two dance numbers in Two Weeks With Love shot a couple of years earlier.

It is such a shame that this unique Vegas show showing Debbie at her prime as a Stage performer has still not put out on DVD. Why is her son Todd Fisher not more active to promote this?! We also need DVD releases of her TV shows like "Debbie" or "Aloha Paradise" plus her TV specials.

I think he has been pretty active in promoting his mother... I have the VHS, but I really don't think there is a market for a 40 year old Vegas show. It is great fun, but it wasn't exactly one of the big spectaculars, so I doubt the investment to release it would get much return, sadly.

ah she still looks good even though she is older here she could still move like a cat, and got a finer edge on her with age like a wine, did not know she was the mother of carrie fisher till around the time that they both passed, she could certainly dance though, and at least she had a long run but dispite what the medical examiner might say she died of a broken heart loosing her daughter carrie.
