I fell in love with Clint Walker when I was twelve years old. It was not a “crush”, but true love. I am now seventy five years old, and I love him still...always have, always will. When I found that he had passed into the clearing at the end of the trail it broke my heart, brought me to tears. Our loss is his gain. Heaven gained a true hero, a good man.

My dad was a violent alcoholic but I made it through my childhood pretending you were my daddy, even carrying a magazine photo of you. When we would watch Cheyenne I really felt like I was your little girl. You inspired me to only date men of excellence. My daughters had a glorious childhood because the Lord sent me a kind husband.

I have had a very big warm spot in my heart for Clint for a very long time. The open window to God has always been there because of him. I too have heard the voice that speaks from heaven for a very long time. It is such a release to know I am not alone! We need more TV and movie actors like him. Many more for that mater! Lol. What a blessing to know that no matter what age we are or even if we are here or not, but that what we did and do matters. We do not have to please anyone but God and the rest falls into place. I love how calming and sure his voice was. The memory on that feeling has always worked in my life to help find the peace, listen to the voice and just walk , not run, with it. Faith.

Only recently "discovered" Clint Walker---as Cheyenne, and several other wonderful performances. Acting, singing, etc not only seemed 2 come 2 him "naturally", but in learning about Clint Walker himself, much of who he is as a person reflects in the parts that he played on the screen and television. It is with GREAT SADNESS that I recently learned of his passing. What a colorful life he had, in reality and in "show business". WE R SO VERY FORTUNATE 2 HAVE SO MUCH INFO AVAILABLE ABOUT HIM---FROM HIS YOUNGER DAYS, UNTIL THE END OF HIS VERY LONG LIFE!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, DEAR SIR, FROM A DEVOTED FAN THAT IS RELATIVELY "NEW" 2 YOUR MANY, MANY FOLLOWERS!!! THANK U SO VERY, VERY MUCH 4 EVERYTHING!!! R I P!!!

You need to be careful about some of the information out there. A lot of it is misinformation. If you are on Facebook, check out his official fan group at facebook.com/groups/ClintWalker.

Here I am at 71 years old and Im searching Clint Walker! I've talked about Cheyenne to my friends and they say , WHO??..I explain and they just barely remember the name..Well I still remember the name. Thank you Clint for many memorable memories. And the testimony you have of you faith in that 'still small voice' that has led you all these many years. Thank God you have listened to Him! May you be blessed with many more. From just a loyal fan who thinks you're a special man. :)

Happy Birthday Clint! i watched 'Cheyenne' as a kid. As an impressionable kid it influenced me to do what was right and to be brave. it taught me what being a man really was. Now at 52 i am relieving those memories again. I have recorded all the episodes from Encore and am loving every minute.

Lovely tribute to a fine actor. Enjoyed reading all the fans' messages. They said exactly what I was thinking. We (Baby Boomers) were so lucky to have enjoyed this great show with Clint Walker. It wasn't until years later that you understood what care and thought went into episodes of Cheyenne, not to mention all the fine actors we were able to enjoy. Clint Walker, I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I'm here every weekday afternoon to watch Cheyenne on Encore Westerns. Wonderful show! Thank you so much for being a part of my childhood.

There just aren't enough superlatives. I am just so happy that Encore Westerns has Cheyenne on so that I'm able to share the show with my son who is 33. He always comments about what what a wonderful production Cheyenne is from the theme song to the stories and the actors. His reaction: "You guys were so spoiled back then."

I feel that I've been short changed in life, as I only 'discovered' Cheyenne a few months ago! Those months have been full of regret that 60+ years have passed without Clint Walker in my life. All that I've read & heard about him leaves a big hole in my soul. I have filled every possible moment filling it with information about him....he is my SAINT with a COWBOY HAT & BOOTS, riding a sorrel named Brandy who has brought me 'back' to believing in GOD! I had lost my way many years ago, but thanks to Clint's interviews, I know I was not abandoned, only had to open my heart & eyes to HIM...How do you thank someone for that ???

Forgot to thank you for the beautiful music you picked for this, it is so perfect..it could have been especially written for this marvelous man. I'm slow but I eventually get there...He even signed his picture 'your friend' means a lot even though I've not met him physically, I feel I have spiritually,, he is three years younger than my brother, who died in WW II at age 19....Wondered what it would have been to have someone to lean on all these years. !!! Please don't take this down, love it immensely!! Thank you

There was an episode on Cheyenne depicting the same situation with a Grizzly Bear that when it was around a campfire, it's eyes would glow. Does anyone remember that particular episode? If you did, please email me a bassman@satx.rr,.com, I would like some assurance that I was not dreaming,
