What a humble, polite gentleman. He was a delight to speak to. Not many like him these days.

I'm 27 and I wish I was able to Meet this man and take a photo and video with him before he died, I just started watching his show Cheyenne with my Grandma and Loved the series and saw his movies More Dead than Alive, Hardcase, and The serpent warriors and snowbeast and watching his others and The man is truly inspirational! One of my Role models 2/3/2024

He was special to me too as a kid and when I got the chance to visit the venue where he and other classic TV western stars were in Abilene, Texas, I jumped at the chance. So many I met there are gone now. Clint and I became acquaintances and I would call him and he would call me. He was so larger than life.

I met Clint years ago. He owned a piece of property next door to my job site. A hulk of a guy with a big heart and easy temperment.

I'm a Gen-Xer who came to America at a young age and grew up on reruns of shows from the 50s and 60s and (rather unlike my peers) to a large extent held onto the ideals of hard work, fairness, honesty, justice and rugged individualism that these westerns portrayed. It's a shame that those values are being dragged through the mud by 'societal forces' right now - even more so than when Clint made this interview. I hope that America can get back on track.
