Actually, I think companies should adopt this model. All employees with blond hair should do job X even if they suck at it because, after all, the Creator designed them to do it. We're not designs or roles, but human beings and we all have our strengths and weaknesses as individuals.

Her fetishes are universal truths as far as she is concerned. I can't stress enough that fundies see the world in black and white because gee, actual thinking is hard work. The genders are waaay different because God has two cookie cutters with one for male and one for female and the female is in a submissive kneeling position.

What a weird idea of how things "should" be. As a man I don't want a woman who thinks she is supposed to be a servant to me, the sexiest thing a woman can be is independent. A woman who has her own drives, goals, and personhood is what makes a healthy partner.

Say that to my parents who have been married for 28 years - they love that they have independent lives and goals and get to just come home and talk about things. It's probably even better for their independence now that my sister and I have flown the nest - they get to do things they want to again. Their marriage is probably stronger now more than ever.

@inkypunk
@inkypunk 6 жыл бұрын
Sydney Taylor I bet you any money smart women are explained away with "something something free will". Yeah sure being a doctor is impressive and all but it's not what God wants. Christians believe you can actually choose whatever you want, but by the way if it's the wrong thing you get tortured for eternity. That was your choice, sinner, you should have chosen heaven! These small communities likely won't bother to learn about female role models, they'll be dismissed as a rare talent (smart girl, it's such a shame though, who looks after her kids?!) or she's a straight up sinful and disobedient viper looking to cause trouble as is woman's wont. Growing up in this community, cut off from less crazy people, you'll feel helpless, you'll have to act helpless, and everyone around you will believe you're helpless until you believe it too. To break that cycle requires a lot of inner strength to cut out your toxic family. So everyone in that community really does think women are mindless helpers, and do mental gymnastics to tear down the women who strive for success. They should be choosing to do god's work and that's the most important part.

This woman didnt really "get married" in the conventional sense. She just played house with a childhood crush and made it work (though debatable). It's unfortunate that she never underwent any personal growth. Also, conservatives are more ruled by fear of the non understood. She was scared of being single, of a life without absolute submission. I feel sorry for her upbringing.

25EllisDee25 Hey kid, if you've had a few bad experiences with these "females" of yours, then maybe you should start opening up your mind and realizing that not all women are abusive or overall shitty. Plus considering you are a Christian, you probably shouldn't just go on hating on women and whining about them all over social media to people who could care less about your little life issues and instead why don't you forgive and let God decide of a new partner for you since he is so perfect? Or maybe you don't have enough faith in him hun? Anyways, you sound exactly like an incel (not saying you are one), so you should probably check yourself before moaning and complaining about a group of people who have most likely done nothing to you and keep your testosterone at a low level because you know... it's making you emotional ;)

not funny or weird at all, and pretty much universally known that when a woman complains to her man, he will try to fix it, because thats what guys do, and makes them feel happy and useful and manly. but this will frustrate her because that will take away the source of irritation so she no longer has anything to complain about, and her desire to be heard and comisserrated with is no longer satisfied.

one thing is certain, and that is people change over time and 1/3 of couples who get married before the age of 21 will be divorced in under 5 years. 2/3 in under 10. Even though you are happy now, the day will come when you or your spouse heads for greener pastures. You just get tired of people and their shit after a while. I got married to my high school sweetheart, and although she was not the only girl I had been with, I had not really had a large enough selection of partners to know that we were not really compatible with her until after we broke up and had wasted many years of my life being married to someone who was wrong for me. i knew without a doubt she was perfect for me for years before i got married to because i was too young and stupid and inexperienced at the ripe old age of 24 to know any better. nobody should get married or have kids before 30. there is no reason to, except maybe if you are terminally ill or something. you are are still basically a kid, and will be for a few more years yet to come. I remember thinking that I was an adult when I turned 18, but looking back now, I was still a kid until almost 30. You will see what I mean 30 years from now.

We get it! You have a fulfilling, stimulating, caring, compassionate, mature, respectful, and downright healthy, adult relationship. Just kidding, no snark here, it's just so lovely! That's how it should be! I wish more people could love and be loved as a result of strong communication, respect for boundaries, willingness to compromise, and honest fair expectations. So many people in relationships just add a lot more pain into the world by never dropping their egos, assumptions, traumas, and unreasonable ideals. It baffles me how most people I know who are engaged don't even communicate about the most basic of fundamentals of building a lasting bond with another person or where to begin to make it be enjoyable (at least for the most part), let alone how they should go about creating tiny humans together without building contempt for their partner. It doesn't help that this world and capitalism basically incubate and reward personality disorders. Being child-free by choice (more like staunch antinatalist) and dating, I have to be very upfront on first encounters about my desired future lifestyle, and it pains me so to see people trapped in loveless marriages, pumping out children that would have been way better off having their souls stuck in the ether of non-existence. A lot of people I know don't even discuss genetics before reproducing. I have one acquaintance who had two children with cystic fibrosis and they knew they had the gene in the first place! People don't even know if their partner had braces growing up and wonder why their kids are going to enter primary school looking like a beaver, costing them $10k in braces. Sorry for the rant. I'm really happy for you! Good on ya, you're an inspiration :)

I was leading a woman's Bible study years ago, and the book we were studying [not a Pearl book] said to please the husband by agreeing with his opinions, giving the example of shopping for a lamp and when he asks what the wife thinks of a lamp, she should ask what he thinks and then agree with it enthusiastically. I tried not to, but I ranted to the ladies about how stupid that was...if a husband was interested enough in them to marry them, he LIKES their personality and doesn't want them to turn into a blank slate after they get married. We dropped the book. Not to mention, dishonesty is not what the Bible advocates. Just be HONEST about what you think about the lamp, for goodness sake!! If he loves it and you don't, he can put it in his office or you can search for something you both like.

"It is better for the job to be done poorly by your husband than to be done well by you." So in other words, the effective running of a household is not the priority. Despite being of a conservative Christian perspective that family and home are the the most important things in life (after faith of course), it is acceptable to them that a family be poorly led, or a household poorly managed, so long as everyone is in their proper "place". They are willing to risk the health and stability of family life in order to make sure gender roles are adhered to.

I do agree with Debi on one point; it is the wife's duty to fulfill her husbands sexual needs, BUT it's also the husband's duty to fulfill his wife's sexuals needs, it also has to be consentual at all times and without guilt. I may understand that one of my roles is to make sure my partner is sexually satisfied, I shouldn't be made to feel like I must if I am simply not feeling it, sex is better when both parties are consenting and not just willing, but actively wanting to please each other. If I want sex but my partner does not, but we go ahead and do it anyway.. it's not going to be fun for her, and because of that, it won't be fun for me either. I'd much rather wait until such time as she also wants it.. or, and I'm sorry to be crude but it's true, go solo.

@Craig X Just admit you dislike women and piss off. This isn't third wave feminism, it's exactly what first wave and second wave feminist was fighting for. Women should be their own people and pursue what they want just like men, none of this man hating nonsense of third wave feminism. If the idea of women being free makes you think we hate you, then you really need to re think your views. Your problem is not with third wave feminism, it's with female individuality and the fact women don't bow down to your feet anymore. Don't reply with some nonsense rhetoric I've seen in your other replies, if you were fine with women not being servants to men and doing what they please, you wouldn't have complained about a video that critiques the fact women are told to stay in the home. Quite clearly, people like Lovelace or Curie didn't just stay in the home and now we have many things, radiation and software programming were intrinsic to the development of x-rays and the modern computer.

Two things I was told in my criminology degree I think Debbie could benefit from: 1.) Anecdotal evidence is not evidence 2.) Qualitative data (Interviews, stories, etc) is to find perspective, not truth. Quantitive data (Stats, numbers) finds the amount truth in perspective. In short, you can't claim an anecdote as a universal truth unless you have some stats to back it up, lady; all women aren't a certain way just because you are personally.

Basically, hubby decided he was tired of being celibate and wanted to do it 'the right and honourable' way, then the reality of his situation hits after he has committed to someone he doesn't even really like - let alone love. Trapped by, and within, his own beliefs, he goes about systematically destroying everyone within his family out of sheer resentment. The best part is that the brainwashed wife now writes a book about how to be systematically abused by a misogynist; after co-authoring a book about how to systematically destroy the children you create. Seriously, they used to burn 'witches' for being the purveyors of evil...

I kind of understand Debi's viewpoint. She was raised to be kind of helpless herself. Giving the power over her life and body to a person she trusts must've been a relief for her and she feels that other women would feel the same. If something is not working out - well, maybe God thinks it doesn't meant to work. If a man doesn't satisfy her in bed and expects her to satify him - maybe that's how it supposed to be. She feels relief she doesn't have to confront her partner about not being fair if she can pretend and believe that it's ok. I mean making decisions on your own is kind of scarier than cooking and cleaning. I hope women with that kind of viewpoint find right men, who at least try to be caring and loving.

As a guy, I understand it as well. I have a deep-seated hatred for decision making, and prefer to leave that to others if possible. But there is a very fine line between wanting someone else to decide what we have for dinner and wanting someone to control every aspect of one's life. Unfortunately, I've had too much of the latter in my life.

I don't think most men would find having sex with their partner very pleasing either if she wasn't into it. It sounds a bit similar to faking an orgasm which I've come to believe men aren't okay with. Especially if the woman finds herself in a situation where she just isn't interested in sex with her boyfriend at all, the boyfriend should have the right to know about it so they could work things out. In the end lying about your feelings is only going to make things worse for everyone. I've been there.

Why is it always that fear is the key motivation for these two? Because it is easy to control people with fear, but hard to control them with reason. Because with reason, you have to think and make someone else think. With fear, you only have to raise your hand... Having a kid shut up as soon as you move is much easier than having a kid thinking for itself, where you have to explain to it *why* you don't want them to do something. Edit: I have a pretty high testosterone level... Why haven't I conquered a small country by now...?

The bible and monotheism in general is largely fear based. Fear of hell and teh many harsh punishments, or shunning, etc. In Revelations/book of John it says the fearful are damned in one place and says your damned if you are not fearful. I always thought it was a contradiction and it may be but I just now thought of the out that it is time sensitive when to be fearful.

The Pearls give "pearls" of wisdom I think the world can do without. I would assume they believe in fear being a proper motivation as their religion is based on fear. Do this or suffer in eternal torture. That;s what their belief in a "good" god teaches them. I also must know if you've read the Injustice graphic novels as you brought up the game. Thank you for another great video, sorry my thoughts are all over the place! Now off to Patreon to watch the other video!!!
