Miranda wrote this book for Miranda. This “Character” is just Colleen being herself In blow up doll lipstick. Just disgusting. I’m praying 🙏 for our children that there will be justice. But if history is any indication, we honestly just need to keep our children completely away from the internet world, until they’re 18. Sounds drastic right? NOPE for the majority of human existence that has been the norm. These last 30ish years I’ve only seen pedophiles gain more tools on the internet. But her, Shane Dawson, & people like James Charles have made empires off of harming our most vulnerable and important demographic of our society.

@8:45 It really bothers me that she’s using awful grammatical errors for a children’s book. Using the incorrect There with Their urks me to no end. The previous page shown also had a Im not an I’m. I’m actually not a grammar police lady. But when the main demographic is impressionable children I just hate the whole book without the pedophile stuff even.

Guy makes request for help, woman asks to be allowed to rest, guy throws tantrum because he didn't get his way right away and takes it out on her by withholding consideration. And people blame the woman because who have trauma over woman, will see them as the problem rather than trying to understand why they have the problem in the first place. Therapy Required.

Well today when a woman divorces a man she tends to get alimony and child support and custody of the children. So how about we get rid of monetary incentives to rid yourself of your spouse? Honestly this is a deeply dysfunctional society. Deeply dysfunctional. Im kind of tired of all this progress.

I read on my kindle app on my full size ipad with the font size pretty small because bigger fonts hurt my head, and there have absolutely been times where the books is dragging and I look down at the time stamp says 28 or 30 minutes left in a chapter and felt frustrated. But damn have these people ever heard of taking a break and coming back to it later?

I will say, there is a major difference between erotica and pornography. Several erotic novels are fantastic works of literature studied in universities, and even ones that are more "lowbrow" can be incredibly well-written and deeper than just sex. The idea isn’t just being smut, a lot of the time. It's being an actual novel. I kinda stumbled into the genre from being a fan of Urban Fantasy, and ended up a fan of quite a few works. Also (and this is very much a grey area), I agree that marketing is a problem, and the content of books should be clearer, so people wouldn't think certain stories are romantic. But I'm a fierce defender that every book can and should be written. The publisher needs to inform properly what the content is, but everything has its place. Justine would be seen as the most horrific book ever, but we dedicated a large part of a Sade study cycle to it at uni. And things like straight up non-con are present on romance novels, and have been for decades (not consensual non-con). It's the old bodice-ripper.

In defence of true crime, there are some good creators out there. I really like kendal ray and crime weekly. They are victim focused, respectful and try to figure out what actually happend and/or spread awarness. In the passed I sometimes listend to less tasteful true crime content, but I'm so gald im passed that. There was this guy on youtube that litteraly made a pun of a murder weapon in the middle of discribing the murder. I unsubscribe so fast.

It's so disturbing to me how people romanticise true crime. And I do say this as someone who likes parts of the genre. I have books written by medical examiners about their side of investigations, by people who studied recent cases, or about historical crimes. The investigations are interesting, and victims should never be firgotten. But the criminals are the people we remember as a cautionary tale, not as heroes. My uncle was murdered in a pretty horrific way, and the family had to fight for his killer to be investigated because she's beautiful, and charismatic, and very easy to ignore as the evil party. This kind of delusion is so, so dangerous. I hope I never see her in a colouring book.

I fear the point went straight over your head. Yes they can consent but that's only in a legal sense. The boys she's sleeping with are people who were only children months before she met them. @ “thats only in the legal sense” says who? 17 year olds are not “children”. Who the f told you that. “people dont magically mature the moment they turn 18” People dont *start* maturing the moment they turn 18 either lol, most people have matured enough *by the time they reach* 18, thats why the law is what it is…

@@swordierre9341 17 year olds are children according to the law? What are you going on about mate. And again most people haven't properly matured enough to consider the ramifications of doing such things. Listen if you wanna tell yourself that "barely legal" porn is fine because 18 year olds are clearly soooo mature then go ahead. As someone in your mind 20s that's certainly concerning. You've definitely consumed way too much of what bonnie produces which is why you blindly defend her

Can we stop infantilizing 18 year olds, such a first world problem. Who are you to decide what's "worth it" for an adult. Speaking as a 24 year old, at 18 I probably would've done it, for a lot of guys sex is a rare commodity. so she's really doing a public service.

This is why im extremely careful about the true crime content I engage with. The second you're disrespectful or romanticize a killer, your content is worthless. It's pretty normal for humans to be fascinated by the macabre but if you can't remember these are real people, then stick to fiction. I've watched a lot less true crime content lately because it seems like sensationalism is taking over more and more and that's just not okay.

Wait....she was reading six of crows??? I don't mean to insult the author or anything but that is a fairly quick read, like the momentum and writing style let's the reader easily take in a lot of info while keeping up with the high stakes and fast pacing of the plot. And sure there are moments that are slow bc the characters are fairly well rounded so the story does call for these slow moments. But my point being that it's not a hard read, at least in mine and my friends experience. I'm honestly concerned for this woman's reading skills if she is so stressed out by it that she feels the need to drink.
