Home alone at 73 and watching wild child debi is a complete PARTY! Not only is she an artist (like my Mom was) but she is a great story teller and entertainer. One of my favorite Debi stories. Although the bean burrito at Disney is my favorite. And I remind my kids of that every time we go and they ask for too many treats😂😂😂. I say Debi didn’t even get to eat lunch in the park, she got bean burritos. This dresser is absolutely gorgeous and I love the idea of painting over the transfers.

Oh, my gosh, Debi! I had a patchwork granny dress that was VERY similar to the ones you & your sister were wearing in that pic with your mom! My family was big & poor & I didn’t get new clothes, only hand-me-downs from neighbors. I worked (ten years old) at picking up trash from a drive-in restaurant with car hops to save for that dress! What a great memory!!! You sound SO MUCH like me. I was a very feisty child…must be the creative minds we had-LOL!

OMGOSH I laughed so hard I PMP's 😹😹😹. That dresser is gorgeous. I just got an old trunk my mother bought 50 years ago. She painted it dark red then dark stain over it, leaving all the wood strips natural. Then probably 20 yrs ago she gave it to my sister. She decided she didn't want it anymore so now it's mine. The three of us are always swapping around furniture lol. Dark antique red does not mix with my pink boho chic style so I just knew where to find my inspiration. Debis!!!! Thank you so much.
