I met her as a child and she was lovely to me, and even at that young age I could tell she was the driving force behind Chatsworths success!

I love the information. I hate the bloody background noise. Makes it hard to hear what is being said. What is being said is an important part of the video, isn't it?

All sisters were gorgeous! From what I’ve learned, she was most beautiful inside! English manors are exquisite. Love the decor. And the gardens!

Lovely show and commentary. I have always been interested in the Mitford sisters, and have read everything I could get my hands on about them. I would hazard a guess that her many innovations and her personal style were fostered by the "eccentrities" of the Mitford family. Blessings to them all!

Of all of the sisters Deborah was my favorite. Seeing this video I can see an independent woman and a sense of confidence. I guess the political turmoil and shenanigans of Diana, Unity and Jessica made Debo very grounded.

She was totally unique - lm just sorry this is such a poor eulogy. I went to a lecture she gave once at the Royal Society - she was enthralling, witty and entertaining - quite a raconteur. Chatsworth House is a marvellous legacy to her.

Debo was so cool and beautiful. Glad she knew about fashion, and even Elvis. So sad that Kick didn't get to know Elvis. She died 1948. Man ,too early

As the saying goes: "You just don't find people such as this, increasingly, any longer. She couldn't control being born into the world in which she was - no one does. However, rather than focusing on ALL the negatives, really what are they, the shear Class, Elegance and Humility speaks VOLUMNES from which many could take a lesson.

her husband cheated on her so many times but he wasnt too stupid as to leave her, she really made Chatsworth profitable, a whole entire business enterprise.

Ancestry.com states I am the only DNA tested match to Christiana Bruce, Duchess of Devenshire, who was born in 1639. She was married to a Stewart, and I already knew that I am a Stewart by blood.

If the speaker spoke slower and articulated the words better it would even be possible to hear what he says. If the irritating background music was removed it would also be beneficial for the understanding of the narrative.

I just read that St. Bartholomew church in Smithfield, the oldest church in London, is also where the fourth wedding almost took place in "Four Weddings and a Funeral." The altar where duckface gives Charles a shiner may be the very same place where Andrew and Deborah tied the knot in 1941. However, this scene here, of them exiting the church, bears no resemblance to any entrance into the Great Priory Chapel at St. Bart's that I have been able to find a photo of. Thoughts, anyone?

I'm sorry, but she was married to Andrew Cavendish, the 11th Duke of Devonshire, not the 10th. Is this really a Sotheby's channel? Seriously? You should do your homework more carefully.

I don't want to make it personal, but the narration leaves a lot to be desired. The writer may be excellent, but the narration is very weak and robotic.
