I don’t think your climbing plant from next door is ivy. It looks like the invasive weed ‘Morning Glory’ or bindweed.

I imagine that’s the first time bindweed has been treated so lovingly! Push it back under the fence quickly, like other commenters have said it’ll grow like crazy and strangle all your new plants.

What about the idea of painting the door of the shed the same grey as the fence, I think it would look great.

Thank you your garden is coming along lovely I did read through some of the comments to see if anyone had said about the bindweed and they had the stuff is a pain it wraps its self around the plant and chokes it if you want a climber get a clematis they have a lovely flower and come in many colour's .x

I moved into my house nearly 5 years ago and there was bind weed in some of the beds, I'm still battling with it now, you need to try and get as much of the root out as possible, but if its coming from your neighbours, it will probably be an ongoing job for you........... Happy to see you back btw
