I like your flag, now that I know what yours is made of I don't feel bad about mine being low rent too :) I use one of those telescoping little deals that people use to put small flags on at sporting events and I tie a grocery bag with the bottom cut out to the end. Works like gang busters on horses and cattle and I can shrink it down and put it in a pocket or saddle bag when I need to. I like it because it works but it sure doesn't look very high dollar if anybody were ever to watch me... probably a good thing I live in the middle of nowhere :)

Pat, thank you for the video. I have used silicone tape, aka self adhesive tape. It doesn't get soft or melt when temperatures get hotter.

Pat I subscribe to the cowboy channel . Reining was on I watched. You are so correct looked like his right arm was in a cast and he had a bolling ball in the crack of his butt. I LMAO was thinking of your comments

Slow and steady. As each year passes the hobbles go on higher up and the horses get taller.

He looks to be comeing. Along well. Hey pat and deb what's your opinion on getting horses teeth floated? Years ago we. Didn't do it
@PatnDebPuckett4 жыл бұрын
We get them floated regularly on horses over 7 or 8 years old. We also keep an eye out for any signs of discomfort the horse might be trying to tell us about...head tossing, balling up feed, inability to gain weight.

I have a horse with phobias of bags/paper. Flapping things. He’s doing a lot better with tarps, since I’ve employed some of Pat’s instruction, but pull a grocery bag out & he explodes. I was feeling awfully discouraged, but now I plan to OUTLAST him, which is what I’ve really had to do at every single new phase. From laying first hands on, eventually haltering, grooming, picking up feet, leading, saddling, riding. His filly companion, who I got at the same time & is the same age, never bats an eye at anything... a “born broke” type I guess? They will be 3 this May.
