Gold, BTC, quality global stocks, yes, however not property, if the U.S. dollar gets hyperinflation everything becomes worthless in that country, only global assets survive. Yes assets will go up against the U.S. dollar, however the U.S. dollar would become worthless compared to other currencies or global assets. As for property in the U.S, property is a national fiat asset, it would go up in value against the U.S. dollar, however not in other currencies or global assets. .. Anyone feeling the impact of these economic shifts should consider Crypto long-term trading strategies to protect their assets. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 520k from day trading with Francine Duguay in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

As gold holders we tend to view gold’s increase in price as rather a reflection of loss of value in a currency - destruction of purchasing power. So in effect gold is holding its value in purchasing power rather than increasing. In Switzerland, gold bullion is treated as a currency and there is no capital gains tax levied on it - this is the correct policy. Elsewhere, however, increases in the value of gold are taxed through capital gains tax when gold is sold. This is an example of profligate governments screwing those citizens who hold gold and attempt to mitigate the effects of currency destruction.

Correct about everything, but not entirely on Bitcoin. Firstly, never merge crypto and Bitcoin as the less informed don't know the difference. You are doing arguments disservice by conflating the two. Secondly, evolution is inevitable. Gold is great and I own some, but Bitcoin was (as far as we can tell for now) created with the purpose of using the current Usury (which as the guest points out has its traces all the way back to the creation of the FED in 1914 and even before that, especially Europe), to create a new 'asset' which will be immune to the threats of velocity of money/devaluation. So far, it has been bashed for 15 years and yet for 15 years it keeps doing what it does. I think we don't need to be critical of Bitcoin when it keeps outperforming gold and everything else. Gold will still have its purpose in the future and probably more so in the dystopian scenario we surely are backing ourselves into, but until that point comes, Bitcoin is far and wide the better 'investment' and 'store of value' up UNTIL the collapse of the entire monetary system....and who knows if that's in 10, 20 or 50 years. It's coming and the best advice I have is to hold both.
