my options for OLED switch grips is surprisingly slim for what I'm looking for, sadly while this grip may not be dockable it does two things that other grips I've seen haven't, for one it'll make my OLED switch way more comfortable to hold cause right now its really bad bringing it with my anywhere cause of the lack of any sort of supporting grips to help balance it out, thing 2 that it does great is even if its not dockable its super easy to take it on and off without worry

Writing my review here cause amazon has stupid review requirements. I watched this video cause I was looking for a good grip that's also cheap. The plastic of the grips feel really cheap and it reminds me of those wii mote addons (a racket or a baseball bat), they have the same cheap feeling. The plastic on the main body feels really good. Getting the switch in was easy but it's kinda annoying to put on the grips sometimes. I like all grips but my favourite one is the pro grip. It's so comfortable playing my switch without the grip my hands start to hurt after 5-10 minutes but with the grip I can play much longer ^-^ the grip fits perfectly in the dock(if people have problems with that it probably is the screen protector, i don't have one installed) definitely recommend buying this

NeoGrip is comfortable, but the plastic is too thin and brittle, and the difference between the 'trigger' grip and the 'plus' grip could have been more accentuated. Besides, a rubbery material would have made it a lot better to actually grip. I'd rate it a 7.5/10.

Frustratingly I don't have the HORI dpad joycon, I wasn't aware of any bump on the back? Does that differ from the normal joycon? Just want to put out an alternative take: If you're a new Switch owner, do NOT buy ANY grip unless, after playing with the system for a few hours, you actually even need one. I bought a new OLED switch a month or so ago and bought into the hype that I absolutely "NEEDED" a grip in order to play. I spent $50 on getting the Skull & Co EDC case, the Neo Grip, and a screen protector. After spending the money, I find the grip to be mostly an annoyance for me during play and drastically affects portability. Now, I am 5'6" with smaller hands, so I have never had much of a problem with hand cramping or whatever other horror stories people seem to have experienced. I also rarely sit and play my Switch in handheld mode for hours at a time. Honestly, at this point, I wish I hadn't bought a grip at all... I rarely use it. Also, there is pretty much zero reason to remove one of the JoyCons when putting it on or taking it off.
@128KB2 жыл бұрын
100%, never buy anything anyone tells you to unless you already are looking to benefit from it. I used the Switch for years before getting grips etc. and they've massively helped me and my experience but everyone's different!
