​@@marianoamato2092 oh, no I'm not having any issues at all, so far they are great. Sorry to hear you are having connection issues, hopefully you can fix it and its not a wide spread issue. I was originally commenting on how this new mobapad showed up out of nowhere after I thought I researched all 3rd party options and decided on the nyxi hyperion pro. The omron buttons and HD rumble on the moba are tempting, but probably not enough for me to upgrade again so quickly. The draw distance on the bumpers he mentioned on the moba sounded like the only negative.

Still, I hope I can solve the disconnection problem via software update and for sure I won’t upgrade since I just got them

10:15 this is the mark of a truly professional review. Such a small detail that most people miss, but it’s actually super important for customers to know. I’ve bought a number of other joycons/controllers where the back paddles are really just macro buttons, and for me, it makes them unusable. Also worth noting, they charge through the rail rather than by USB C. Which is a huge selling point for me. My other 3rd party controllers required charing by cord and they needed to be separatly charged which was annoying.

For me, I think we're really at a point in the Switch's life cycle where I cannot purchase anymore controllers that ONLY work with the Nintendo Switch. For this to make sense for me to purchase, it would need a center connection piece and PC support.

If these work with Switch 2 or they make a Switch 2 version, I'm never buying official joy cons. This is finally end-game! If the Switch 2 uses a different controller, I'd really hope they take inspiration from these 3rd party ergonomic joy cons.

Is the gyro aiming just as quick and responsive as Nintendo's Joy-con's or official Pro Controller? Usually 3rd party offerings wind up having slower less responsive gyro for whatever reason.

These genuinely are joycon perfected. I pulled off 6 pile drivers with Zangief in a row using the rocker dpad in Ultra SFII. Octagonal gate on left, round on right, mapped L/R to M1/M2. HD rumble and gyro is top-shelf. NFC, HALL Effect analogs, mechanical buttons, wireless with wakeup... what more could you POSSIBLY want in joycon? I disassembled the official joycon charge grip down to the middle strip and use that as a charge grip. It's perfect.

8:03 stiff is good sir.. You do not want them to make it loose or it will wobble on the switch just like all the controllers out there including nintendo. I love how premium this feels and how stable it is on the switch, it almost feels like a one single unit. That's how solid it feels and I hope it doesn't get loose overtime.

As a PC gamer playing on a mechanical keyboard, the mechanical switches is nice to hear for a controller. I just ordered the DOYOKY GC controller and already spent way too much this week on other things, or I'd get one of these as well. It shows as $150 on their website, but on sale for $80. Idk if it's a perpetual sale, but it's definitely a good price for an excellent controller by the sound of it.

Ordered the HD on the back of your m6s review as couldn’t imagine they would be any “worse.” Very much looking forward to getting them now. I did see in another video that you can pop out the rings if you are careful. Not a big issue with the all white HD ones but could be a solution if you want all round or octagonal rings but keeping the og colour scheme. Another cool feature is that you can use the sticks and d pad from the Chitu if you wanted to break up the white with some red.

I know its kinda a late comment but the reason why hd rumble makes sounds like that is because its basically a speaker without the driver its a copper coil wrapped up like a speaker without the driver (the part you can see move if you remove the grill) apple taptic engine does this too! thats how you get more details in the haptics vs just thumping that a spinning weight would do!! also i really wish this brand would sell replacement plates and sticks because then I could get the blue ones for the HD!! thanks for the reviews!

I just got a set of the Hyperion pros in purple, and I played through all of Borderlands with them.They were decent but the mold of the joystick caps are terrible!. The MOBAs seem to have a much better mold. I wish these had more variety in color or I would have gone with these. I appreciate the in depth look at these, nice work.

I bought these and have been satisfied so far. Biggest drawback is that the joy sticks turn yellow within a week. Other people online have also been complaining about this same yellowing effect.

Fun fact about Mario Wonder: If you play the game in silent mode and with hd rumble activated, the first special phase of the carnivorous plants is possible to hear through the rumble the plants singing as if you were feeling the music.

Oh well I am still really happy with the Hori ones to be fair and I've just bought the case to fit them with the Switch too so not sending them back now. Love the white colour so much... Had the Mobapad for a month now and it's absolutely worth getting, especially if you play a lot of ports (imo it's a must-have for FPS games). Only bad experiences so far is mine had a squeaky trigger (fixed with graphite powder), and they don't charge when attached to the switch, even if it's docked.

I had the same issue, app wouldn't install on my android phone. Click install nothing happened. I ended up using a PC to install it on my phone via ADB and it works!

I find the market for joycon alternatives really strange. I’ve been through a lot of turmoil trying to find a suitable pair that I like the look of and work well. I think rgb is extremely tacky and almost every joycon “worth having” have it, even if you can turn it off. I was sold on the mobapads, but I wasn’t keen on the white because of the contrast with the black of the switch. So I’m going to reshell the entire thing to match… it’s gonna look so clean. Thanks a lot for your reviews! I’ve watched pretty much everyone featuring the mobapads I can’t wait hahah!

Considering getting these when the case is back in stock for non US shipping. Although have just bought the Nitro Deck (retro purple) for £56 and am enjoying it. It’s also available in shops like Argos, whereas these aren’t. Not a big thing really. These seem a bit more premium than the ND but will be interesting to see these compared against the ND+. Do like the reassuring feel of the shaped grips, doesn’t make you feel you could drop the Switch in handheld.

I swore off the Binbok Joy-Con because I bought those ones twice, the first time I was playing Bug Fables, which required me to move the joysticks fast, which caused the joysticks to become loose, and the second time I bought them, they broke while I was playing, and the start button started pressing on its own at inconvenient times.

@@caetanodantas4880 yeah definitely liking them alot. I have ran in to skme issues with them. The left one sometimes has to be turned on twice for the switch to recognize it to sync wierlessy. Also the left one and i dont know of this is because im playing stardew valley split screen with my wife that the left controller sometimes doesn't read my imputs while im clicking a or b. Also the stick will sometimes stick where its wont read that ether. Might have a bad left controller. The right ones is perfect no problems. I still need to reach out to them about the left one.

No analog triggers, they have digital OMRON mechanical switches on the triggers and they're Bluetooth so you can connect them to anything really

I don't understand why companies are going all-in exclusively for switch controllers which of course don't "need" analog triggers so they simply cut costs in that one place, when other companies include them and are marketing their stuff for a myriad of platforms including PC, etc. Some even have the ability to adjust the 'height' of the analog triggers all the way down to 'instant click', which is of course needed for the latest Smash Bros, etc. just so dissappointing😔

Best controller hands down. I just received it today and the product feels so premium. the ergonomics is the best for me. I have Nyxi Hyperion Pro, Crkd Nitrodeck, Binbok, Binbok Slim, and Hori Split pad pro. This is the best of all of them. The ergonomics is in between Binbok and Binbok slim with Nyxi Hyperion Pro and Nitrodeck joystick hall effects. It's got the best of both worlds. I'm buying a 2nd pair just in case they sell out. Their website doesn't look impressive so I do not know if this is a big company. I rather get a 2nd pair than find out they stop making them (I hope not)

I‘m not sure if the D-pad is oversensitive, if got quite the trouble in just pressing one direction (instead of two/diagonal), and there could be a bigger brother: in terms of economics it isn‘t the most confortable It took 12 days from Alibaba/China to me, Switzerland

I think the $80 is fair. depending on shipping costs. my joycons that venge with my oled switch still work fine after 2yrs. somehow they lasted longer than 4 other sets on my other switch. I think I need to wait a little bit, but these are the replacement I want.

I'll give it a proper test soon but from memory mine seemed fine, I believe if you can get the app to work then you can update firmware there, that may fix any issues!

This is my concern about these: support. If you get a good one, great. But if you have a Quality Control issue, you are likely just out of luck and have to try to fix it yourself. I know mine coming through AliExpress will pretty much be that way.

I personally find these more comfortable now I've used them more but I have medium sized hands. I'd recommend these purely for everything else it comes with but for super large hands the older ones may be more comfortable

One question, how do they perform with motion games - Switch Sports, House of the Dead, Arms, etc. - as those games always get loaded up when have friends round? Thanks again,

I’m just looking for some decent joycon alternatives while I play skyward sword HD. The left joycon is alright I guess, but the right one is so uncomfortable to use with the way the joystick sits over the buttons. I just want something that fits in the hand better and is usable for the sword and shield actions in the game. I actually miss the wiimote when I use the joycons. As odd a controller as it was it was great to hold

Yeah would be cool to get designs from Mobapad but you could customise these!

With them the switch looks like the Lenovo legion or an ayaneo console. It's a shame that they don't come with a white central piece to play with them like a procontrol.

On their FB page they said they're working on a charging solution "Currently, connecting the switch console for charging is the only way. We will develop joy con charging equipment in the future."

good looking gamepad but then since i just modified my joycon replacing the shell to a transparent clear case and upgrading to a hall effect sticks. i guess this are better for people with big hands since mine is average.

Tough call, if you've got any other joycon alternatives that have a centrepiece then that should work! Maybe have a look on amazon or ebay for joycon centrepieces, I can't recommend any specifically yet as I haven't looked yet for standalone ones!

Can switch the RIGHT SIDE BUTTONS to the LEFT SIDE back button??? U can do it on nitro deck. Please someone let me no, it s deal breaker for me

No, you can't. Only the same side buttons can be mapped.

Yes you can via the app and the macro feature, currently using left back button as A and right back button as B.

Greetings new subscriber here! I recently became a new Switch owner and the factory joy-cons are terrible for my hands. I don't like using the thumb stick for fighting games and was wondering if the D-Pad on this M6 is much better for executing commands for games like street fighter or mortal kombat?
