Vet student here. That first one, the deformed fetus? I was amazed when I first saw the backroom of wet specimens (bodies and/or body parts preserved in alcohol or formaldehyde) at our school. Hundred of jars with fetuses so deformed you had no idea what it was supposed to be, many "worse" than this. The reason we don't stumble upon more malformed fetuses in the wild is simple, but gruesome: they get eaten almost immediately. In some cases, the mother may consume them to regain some lost nutrients and not to leave any traces. Other than that it's birds of prey, scavengers and ultimately insects. A few days and there's nothing left.

About the deer story: Wolverines are known to kill animals much larger than them, by climbing on trees, jumping on the animals back and biting their neck until it breaks. Despite being relatively small, they are also known to drag their prey for long distances and defend it against animals much larger than them, including wolves and bears. When they abandon prey to finish it later, they usually mark it with their scent, so a really foul stench could be an indicator that this was a wolverine. Also, if you doubt that a wolverine could kill a deer and drag it away - look up literally anything on wolverines. They are like nature's crackheads. There is at least one known incident of a wolverine killing a polar bear. Yeah. Let that sink in. Edit because a lot of people bring up the lack of prints: Wolverines have soft, padded paws that flatten like snow shoes specifically to allow them to walk on snow without sinking into it. They're also pretty lightweight, which helps. Of course they will still leave some traces, but on anything but fresh snow those won't be immediately apparent. So I agree that it should be impossible for them to leave no prints, but not that those prints were too shallow to be overlooked by a person in a hurry

if we take the "screaming" thing to be true in the first entry, it's possible that the fetus is an elk (which is actually a type of deer) since they are known for making shrill, loud noises. they are also larger than the standard whitetail deer. it looks like the fetus was SEVERELY malformed and the mother's body rejected it or something along those lines (it's not like the fetus would've lived anyway). elk are native to california as well! :)

I’m late to the conversation but the satan one can happen. Basically the Ai uses a library of art to take features commonly associated with a word (in this case Satan) and creates an image from that. The reason it takes so long is because it does most of the heavy lifting sifting through features in order to make the final image. However it doesn’t save the image you generated as an image but rather as a value made up of the features it takes from the library in that initial phase. So if you refresh the page some of the images you make will actually change and the degree of change is based on how broad the term you used was. In this case a term like Satan would probably have a large ass library of features and thus if you were to refresh on an image based on that then the changes would happen. TL:DR weird Ai shit makes it so that if you refresh the page/ reload it then the images might change based on the term used.
@DeKosta3 жыл бұрын
Yes. And depending on the service used you can even get a bulk folder with all the generated images like in a chain be it 100s or 1000's of images based on values set. And again depending on service you can have a google drive set as save point for the images and you get a "final" image that continuously updates as the AI generates it so if you were to refresh the folder the image would change.

on Satan: i think the most likely possibility is that OP was trolling. the post seems somewhat well written from a storytelling point of view, and i think "my religious mother" is more likely to be written by a writer, rather than saying "my mother is religious". also, using the word "stoic" to describe something is somewhat creative. the grammar and punctuation are also perfect. the idea of the special function or some other glitch would need more explanation or evidence because it's a very specific and elaborate edit, and being unable to replicate it lowers the believability. fun computer science fact: when a file is deleted, normally the operating system just flags the file's part of the memory as unused/free. the data in that spot has to be overwritten for the file to actually be gone from the computer's memory.

The first part of the ghost story reminded me of something my mom and grandma told me once a few times- I barely remember experiencing it. It was when I was pretty young, like a toddler and such. I was in my room and apparently I was talking to some boy inside my closet. My mom told me who I was talking to but I told her "mind your business". the boy was awfully skinny and pale. I don't remember much but yeah. apparently when my mom and the rest of the family moved in, some mother killed herself or was murdered along with a boy in the closet in my moms room before. My mom told me that she remembers someone telling her that her son will look just like the boy who died in the house, and she said I do. I'm not sure if the last part was used to scare me as a joke or if they were being genuine- but it was something to think about when I told that awhile ago.

I too lived in a famously paranormal part of my town. Usual it was just standard sightings hat could be dismissed as a trick of the eye or ear, but 2 stood out. 1. The most haunted room in my house is right at the top of the stairs and started as my brothers room. He's half Native-Canadian so he would keep a Native hand drum on a shelf. Every so often when people were in the room, the drum would seemingly go off without a finger being on it, as through someone threw a pebble at it. Initially I thought it was a large fly smacking it on accident. until one day I looked directly at it for a minute or two and it went off, rippling as through it had been struck with no input from anything. 2. The room was later turned into a "hangout room" where you'd chat with guests. Me and my friend were talking about dragons, Minecraft and Fallout when the glass containing his drink randomly exploded, causing both of us to scream. It was previously sitting on the table and now laid in 1cm chunks spread around, the bottom was relatively intact and still sat on the table and to this day we have no reason to suspect anything short of a pissed ghost.

Ok, about the second deer. Grew up on the north shore of Chicago, between the Des Plains river and Lake Michigan. There is a lot of good forest near where my house was and having lived there for over a decade, I can say with a lot of confidence that I know the area better than pretty much anyone. I didn’t have many friends so I spent most of my time outdoors in the woods. I would go out in just about any conditions, including blizzards. On one such snowy day I traveled north, much further than I usually go. Out on the back roads path I found 3 mutilated deer carcass. They had been torn into pieces in a way had never seen before. They had been dismembered in a manic way, limbs snapped off at the bone then tossed aside. One of them, a young male, had his head ripped off and eyes gauged out. One of them had its intestines tossed away, hanging off a tree branch. Blood was everywhere. There where no tracks of any potential predator, and the is a forest preserve with no predators. The only thing that kills deer here is old age and cars. I took pictures but my mom and I shared an account on our phones, so her photo app was directly connected to mine. She found the photos, and, reasonably, deleted them because she thought they were disgusting. Which they where. I don’t have the photos of this scene, but my few friends and I came back a week later and took the antlers off the male deer. I still have those antlers, and one of my friends is convinced they are cursed. I don’t know what the f@ck killed those deer. But I do know that my home town is in Algonquin territory, and I’m very familiar with legends of wendigos. I have my suspicions…

that dead animal in grass.... could easily be a small sheep ripped in half and chewed on by a wolf, in the picture it would have been found in a later stage of decomposition.

I have some back story on the first one. This happened in Houston TX. On the east side to be exact (channelview). That same night there were thousands of people who spotted a UFO in the area. I live in south east Houston so I did not see a thing. I have a friend who lived in the east side at that time. He and some friends did see the UFO, they even captured clear HD pictures of the UFO. That night 30-50 pictures of the same UFO were posted on Twitter. All from different sides of town, different angles. My friend has since passed so I don’t have access to his photo. I will try to dig up some of the pics from Twitter and update if possible.

Oh hey i remember that alien deer fetus thread Third one is old and was a good thread. Also let’s be real, there’s plenty up north we don’t know about since barely anyone lives there. That being said I doubt it’s a cryptid.
@pennyforyourthots3 жыл бұрын
I'm going to be honest, it kind of just looks like OP cut it himself and posted it on the internet look to spark a mystery. I imagine it's probably pretty boring up north, so why not fuck with people on the internet?
@dannyd.99323 жыл бұрын
@@pennyforyourthots Yeah no kidding, that is indeed most likely what happened. /x/ at that point moved away from creepy pasta posting and green text was becoming the big thing. Pictures that corroborated the posts however where rare at that point which is probably why that thread is well remembered.
@zombie_funeral3 жыл бұрын
theory on the first one: that thing is definitely a fetus. the big eyes and the pink shiny skin are giveaways. i believe its a deformed deer, either deformed through genetic defects or through some sort of attack. the scream that was heard before the fetus was found was most likely the mother deer having a miscarriage

Coyotes will tear your throat out, leave you to die/decay and come back later for food. They will attack horses, deer, even people (rare) if they're hungry enough.

If anyone wanted to know, the background music playing on the background on the deer segment is from Oddworld Abe's Oddysee.

A comment on the deer. We had a predator a few years ago that attacked our goats and sheep. It also went for the neck first (as in this story) and then drug off the prey. All of this would occur VERY quickly and quietly, and sometimes there was no evidence other than scraps of wool..or an animal simply disappeared. Sometimes there did not even appear to be drag-marks. Finally the predator was apparently startled during an attack and left the carcass (a juvenile but not baby goat). Even by photographing the bite marks, local experts were not able to make a water-tight positive identification. Opinions wavered between a cougar (large enough to bodily carry off prey), to the large bobcat around our property, to coyotes (which we KNOW we have, and they definitely drag off prey), to feral dogs. In our case, it's possible that more than one of these was the "predator," as we lost about 10 animals in all. The scariest part of the story, and our experience, was knowing that a predator was venturing up to a few hundred feet from our home, killing an animal quickly and quietly, and then dragging it off without even alerting our dogs.

My theory of what mangled the deer, would be a wolverine. Wolverines have been known to attack, kill, and haul off animals many time there own size. They can walk on deep snow due to their wide feet. And, the kicker, they kill by biting and gnawing at the throat.
@syrperedur68713 жыл бұрын
@@Uhhuhok434 Yes, that's why they don't sink into the snow. The tracks they leave behind are not a very good indicator of their size.

In regards to the Ghost stories one, I have a similar experience. Now I don't really believe in ghosts but here some of my experiences. When I was like 7yrs old I was staying at my grandmothers house which was just up the road from my moms house. My mom was the eldest of 7 siblings and most of her younger brother and sisters (my aunts and uncles) still lived with my grandmother, with their kids. So I would regularly go to my grandmothers house to hang out with them. One night I was sleeping over my grandmothers. When I suddenly woke up, it was pitch black and I had a throbbing headache. Out of the dark I could hear my cousins giggling and telling me to come play hide and seek. I would ask where they were and they would just laugh and ask me to find them. After awhile of roaming around in the dark I realised I couldn't find them and I got scared. So I headed to the loungeroom where my uncle who was built like a gorrilla on steroids was sleeping and decided to fall asleep next to him. The next day I woke up with a bloody nose and when I asked my grandmother where my cousins were last night, she told me they were at my house down the road and had gone there after I fell asleep. So yea, thats my weird maybye ghost story.
