so regardless of the raw performance stats i figured, that FSE does make the game feel way more responsive and crisp (feels like the input from my mouse and keyboard is close to being 1:1!!) and FSO does the opposite, so the picture slightly "lags" behind and almost looks like screen tearing because the picture of the game (OW2) is not in tune with the mouse input i enter. i found my description to be the case in every multiplayer FPS (at least on my PC) Edit: also ty so much Sir khorvie for all your work, a combination of i think 3-4 of your videos made my games run BLAZING FAST, eliminated all input lag possible, ly bby 14700k + 2080ti

I remember disabling FSO for java.exe (where minecraft runs) and doing that gave me a juicy 10% performance increase on unlocked FPS and in capped reduced resource usage, so, depending on the game, it helps a lot FSE has better latency and manages GPU usage better so it is better to disable FSO on GPU limited situations

khorvie, do you know by any chance, why after the new Fortnite update, i get 420 fps ish and frame stuttering, before that i got 530 ish. One thing to note is that i changed the shader cache size to driver default, but i reverted to unlimited, after i noticed the fps drops.

Hey do you know why intel turbo boost causes lag in some games and other games it doesnt cause lag? For example on valorant i dont have any problems but only when i play rainbow six siege will it start stuttering. My cpu temps for both seem around the same 85-100c

You definitely seem like the victim of thermal throttling. As for turbo boost, its kinda like with how the game utilizes it, same with game mode, works better in some games than other

I would recommend setting a lower frame cap, keeping ingame graphic settings turned down. Making sure you keep your laptop on a hard surface and of course optimizing your laptop more fully

Hi khorvie❤, i checked this reg path in game config store/ children and parents part and they are both empty(but my gameconfigstore folder has its own dwords tho), searched my games name too and couldnt find similiar page in reg having flags and stuff, (rainbow six siege) Is there anyway to make my game create those thingies in regedit? sounds like classic overload of your pc parts. fighting causes much higher stress on your gpu specificially. if you are able to, i think nvidia experience has an option to lower your res but adds sharpening, it should help with increasing your fps

i used to watch the one long hair guy with the mid part but then i saw your channel it looked way more professionel and just overall i felt like i could trust you way more then him, so i watched the video "The only pc optimization you need in 2023" i think it was the title i used almost all steps maybe 1 or 2 not but one was connection so i didnt need it cause im almost everytime 0-10 ping in fortnite after i did the rest tho my fps got from maybe 180 in creative to 300 maybe and in public its almost everytime above 90 fps and thats a huge difference but i dont know why but i got one issue thats never got away, i get random hard stutters so basically my fps drops a lot from lets say 130 to 20 for 1 second and then its instantly again on 130 like nothing happend but these stutters just make me play bad and its obv not fun to play i tried much but i couldnt find the issue, maybe this is important my pc specs are a gtx 660 (2gb) and an intel core i7 6700 3.40GHz and i got 16gb ram. (and maybe thats important i clip fortnite with Medal i use for the clips settings quality high, fps at 60 and the bitrate is at 7) btw i love your videos there are great keep up the great work❤

@@khorvietech i skipped the cpu part cause i didnt understand it like i said my english is good but not the best and i didnt wanted to do anything wrong so i skipped it just to be safe, and the hard stutters were there before, so the pc optimization helped my fps but the stutters were still the same

Oh i see. Try to reduce the amount of background apps and even more unneeded services. If you have rgb at all on your keyboard and mouse disable it

i did disable from my mouse and keyboard and thanks i will try that out, but still your tutorial or optimization whatever you wanna call it helped a lot like still my fps got for sure 60-80 more and thats insane, fr thanks for this video khorvie you are the goat.@@khorvietech
