I have a fondness for bald men :) and noticed they often wear hats, which made me wonder if there’s a connection. Thank you for this wonderful segment! At 58, I’ve started growing my hair longer, thanks to an accidental discovery. I’ve been using a red light on my pillow to reduce inflammation in my neck and brain caused by toxic black mould, which has also helped me sleep soundly. To my surprise, it seems to be helping my hair grow longer too! I’ve always wanted long hair, but it would stop just past my shoulders. Now, it’s growing beyond that. Not sure if there’s any science behind it, but I’m enjoying the change! have been using red light for 5 years all over my body. I have the products listed on my amazon store Cynthia if you are interested. I don't use the one for the scalp though, I am lying down on one for just the back of my head. It is a soft waist belt kind. Sending loving kindness from Canada’s capital 🥰💜🙏

I always heard wearing a hat causes hair loss and it makes sense. There are so many baseball players who are going bald/have bald spots. I need to stop pulling out those random grey hairs then 😂

@dreamsdocometrue33 I thought those with a temper caused hair loss as well, perhaps a hormone issue because all of my ex's were bald and only one of them wore hat everyday.

@@DeStresswithDee Baldness is also hereditary, I believe on the mother's side of the family, so if someone is prone to baldness and wears tight fitting hats, they'll just lose hair quicker/earlier.

Looks like all the solutions require purchases, drugs or appliances. I beg to differ…I began massaging my scalp November 1st ( free and requires only time and commitment) a.m.and p.m.,ten minutes each time until my scalp felt warm . I was frustrated with the excessive hair loss. Today , January 28, i can definitely say that the hair loss has subsided, almost stopped/gone! Only 3 months in… I will continue, and will watch for hair regrowth.

I actually watched this segment hoping that they would talk about alternatives to chemicals. They didn't even let the expert speak much.

Look up side effects for minoxidil, it’s not just hair growth.
