There is one mechanic that you really should test when she comes out. It's if her CC immunity takes your innate effect resist into account. For example with about 70% effect res you already have a high chance to resist CC so it would be great if the game checked whether or not you'd get CC'ed normally first before eating up the one time CC immunity and leaving your dps who doesn't build effect res defenseless for the next CC. I've asked two discord channels and got different answers, one of them says it's a separate check so the game does account for effect res, the other one says that it's a flip switch for CC immunity so it disables itself after the first CC it sees.

the CC is for the entire team to resist a single action of CC. Say this gets used up because somebody tried to freeze your tank the CC for everybody is now gone. A good example would be kafka's domination. The instant it triggers everybody affected will resist it and not be dominated but after its gone even if the effect wasnt going to happen to you the immunity is not there anymore

Thank you that's something I really need to know. I like to build a lot of Effect Resistance on my healers I have about 85% on my Bailu, so she can resist most stuff thrown at her. Will her innate Effect res be useless and use the CC res regardless?

@@bosaad502 Yeah it basicly makes every ody immune to any CC done in a single action so kafka's dominate, that team wide freeze attack by cocolia, uuuh the swarm/deer thing that makes your allies attack random things. Anything done to your party in a single action is resisted for your whole party per skill usage.

For most of the time as far as i know those CC immunity should trigger first unless yeah hoyo does hoyo thingy and do like you theorized.

I don't want to dismiss this too quickly, but what difference does it exactly make? You're trying to use FX's immunity as a CC backup, which means the majority of your CC is based on your effect resist. Assuming you're unlucky enough to get CC'd three times in a row - in the first scenario you will need your effect resist to trigger twice in a row, with the third getting absorbed by immunity. In the second scenario, you will ALSO need your effect resist to trigger twice in a row. I fail to see any appreciable difference, but maybe you could explain if there are any scenarios where there might actually be a difference?

lol yeah, support character are the most misunderstood. for a while people were sleeping on Gepard, saying that a dedicated tanker is mid. Then when SW's kit was leaked/announced, a lot of people were assume that she would be a bad character. This is just my personal take, but i think most of this misinformation just stems from the "if it ain't contributing to hypercarry team, it's trash" mentality. Even kafka got this treatment, DoT wasn't as understood so people were assuming that it's simply bad.

@@novalarrahman8510 not true. Just because none of the other LCs give her scaling stat(HP), does not mean that they don't work with her kit. Have you ever looked at her kit and the other LCs( in databank)? Texture of memories, Landau's choice, and hell she could even work with Gepards LC. But with Gepards you're trading some extra damage reduction for 48% def and still get aggro value increase. It's a decent trade since damage reduction actually is less effective the more you stack it, since it's multiplicative not additive. You're obviously not a good theory crafter, and you shouldn't go around spouting off information that you hear without using critical thinking.

People still underestimate taunt LCs huh? It still gives a lot of value (getting hit = allies safe = energy to FX). This is why Gepard is so good since he tanks a lot (especially if 5 enemies) so his shield uptime is faster that any other LC that's not his BIS and Landau's. In a meantime I'll gonna use Landau's since I'm saving for Gepard's BIS LC. As I don't really want to buy Texture of Memories coz I don't like that LC in the first place.

Landau’s choice or Day one will probably be better than Texture of memories. I’m more worried about the other teammates than Fuxuan getting killed, and i have a feeling texture will just be overkill most of the time.

Texture gives more effective HP to Fu xuan allowing her to take more direct hits and save her actusl HP for absorbing her allies damage. It also has the highest HP stat of all the preservation LCs besides her signature. This is the best for survivability as obviously any shields she has wont be diminished by allie damage coming in and will take from her health directly. But if she has a shield and directly takes a huge hit herself right after the shield will allow her to survive. Its the best for fu xuan's survivability because the more hp she has the better it is for her allies.

Texture will probably gives her more healing power for the party, but i don’t think more Hp(shield) for her further increase her damage reduction, unless i’m missing something. Not sure why I've seen people prefer her allies to get hit than her, saying it's the point of her "kit", while you get more energy and avoid casualties for your allies if you chose your Fu Xuan to get hit instead.

I don't think it's a downside to use the skill before it falls off. Ignoring the additional energy, if you let the skill fall off before using it again, then you're letting the party mit, as well as crit buff fall for a full round. Forgetting the crit, that full round of not having mit could kill your dps. So the the energy trace is just helping.

Energy regen rope may not actually be her BiS depending on a few factors. With or without her LC, she can do a basic, skill, basic, basic first rotation just by being hit once or getting energy from another source. If she isn't hit, it'd be a 5-turn first rotation from then on until you get hit even once which then it'd turn to a 4-turn (and possibly a 3-turn if you can get hit 3 times). so she wouldn't *need* ERR. ERR does have 2 applications. one in a consistent 3 turn rotation and one in a possible 2 turn rotation. for the 3 turn you would need to use her technique and get hit twice for a consistent 3 turn rotation or only once if you have her LC, and 0 times if her LC is SI 3+. for the 2 turn you'd need her LC, vonwacq and you'd need to be hit 1-4 times (depending on enemy) within those 2 turns or get energy from somewhere else. you could also do it with a SI 5 if you were hit 1-3 times depending on the enemy. I'm not sure how often you'll need to ult to begin with and I'm not sure if the HP/DEF loss from the rope is worth it for a faster rotation. you'd also be losing out on some benefits of other LCs like the herta shop LC (which is her BiS imo) and landaus.

So that is how it is works... Few days ago I tried to stack as much damage reduction and def as possible in Swarm diff V to do Solo Serval VS Swarm Boss diff V. But the effect was not as much as I thought. But in the end, I managed to solo the diff V swarm boss with just Serval. The Deff and DR I used that time Are: - Gepard's LC - Def and DR relics - Error code Curio (25% DR) - Enhanced gold destruction blessing (15%) - DR while shielded (24% DR) - 0,8% DR/ Fighting spirit stack (36% DR) - 8% def/ preservation (72% def)

Really interested to see how Day one in my new life, landaus choice, texture and gepards LC compare to each other. Kinda biased because I have day one 3x so I hope it will be BiS or equal to it (apart from signature) :D And thanks for your input on her sig lightcone. I was getting a mental seizure seeing how both the leaks and main sub reddit calling her an "incomplete character" without her lightcone and getting upvoted like crazy. Love her so far, biggest upsides: - no more getting one shot by bad rng - cc prevention better than cleansing in a lot of situations - SW synergy for mono element teams - free crit rate buff is fantastic, great for f2p with bad relics Downsides: - Anti synergy with HP manipulating chars (why is that even a thing mihoyo). I guess its the trade off for the one shot prevention. Blades works with her, but his ult and the 90% HP cap for damage is something you might not reach with fu xuan in the line up. Probably not a big deal though, would be interesting to see that math. - not gonna dive to much into leaks but Jingliu + Fu Xuan "synergy" could make me cry inside.

Great video, as always. I was wondering - are you planning on making a video on Sushang (unless I've missed it)? I was thinking about maybe building her if I get one more eidolon up to E6 before we get Topaz. Not that I expect her to be very good but with free skill use on weakness broken enemies and almost 240 speed (107*1.12+42+52+25) with talent, speed boots, Asta and additonally Welt for enemy speed down + action delay as well as action advance from her trace it could be funny to see her take action god knows how many times in a row and not just in SU.

Im speaking more from a f2p player viewpoint who needs to consolidate stamina not spread it. If you have a well build luocha and gepard whats her value? Is she worth the investment? While I dont wholely agree with last Lilies video she is right that running after each new shiney character will stratch you thin.

@@kirillphomichov6101 She combines one-shot protection, CC prevention (typically better than cleanse), and reliability. If you suffer from people being one-shot even with Luocha, can't run certain DPSes with Gepard because they advance themselves forward too often, or face CC on both sides of MoC 10, she can be good. She's probably still a luxury pull even then, though. Basically, are you actually solo sustaining with Luocha, or do you find yourself running March 7th with him half the time? And if you're not solo sustaining with him, can you fix that by levelling your supports' relics?

I havents seen one shots in like 2 months we arent in a stage when characters are 60-70 anymore. Most supports now run combo of hp/defense gear. She looks more like wifu then neccesity at this point.
