Also love the Noga rotadrive countersink in addition to their deburs
@zygmuntthecacaokakistocrat65892 ай бұрын
The blade on Noga, and quite a few others, is a solid tungsten carbide rod, bent and ground. That's how you can deburr heat-hardened steel with it.
@MrDth36992 ай бұрын
Noga and shaviv set the standard for these! They even have a side hole for mounting the blade at 90 degrees. We always called them whirly-gigs in the machine shops I have worked in
@mumbles1justin2 ай бұрын
Ive used Ruko deburring tools for years now. They have replaceable tips for deburring everything. Such as for flat surfaces, inner & outer holes, outer only, inner only, tapered holes for counter sunk etc. The bit holder extends from the handles for longer reach.

Interesting video. 👍 Gedore makes a handy deburring tool that doubles as a 1/4” bit-driver.

These are great for PVC, which is how they're marketed. They'll work on metal too, they just won't hold up. The non-replaceable blade is a deal breaker for metal use in my book. I have a couple of Shavivs. One has is or skinny blades and the other for heavier work. The telescope and the thin one has a cross hole for inserting the blade perpendicular to normal operation for difficult to reach stuff. Deburring tools are a MUST-HAVE in my book.

Noga RG1000 is my favorite and I have several deburring tools. It is very much like a multitool with everything you need in one little package.

'Noga' for the win!
@marcmckenzie51102 ай бұрын
Noga sets the gold standard, at least for machinists. Beyond their wide assortment of deburring tools with replaceable rotating blades in many styles and sizes, they also make several tools for deburring the inside of drilled holes, as well as for channels meet. I should also mention a great heavy duty deburring triangular scraper by General Tools, and inside and outside deburring drill attachments.
@jackalope90012 ай бұрын
You beat everyone to it already. As already stated, Noga is the "standard" for deburring for machinists and in the areo industry.

You should give these a try. They are specifically designed to deburr the inside of a hole, which is always the trickiest part. "Noga RC2200 Large Reversible Deburring Tool Holder Set"

I needed one a couple years ago when doing some Plumbing work and could not actually find one available anywhere.
@drengskap2 ай бұрын
That HDX looks a lot like the Noga deburrer I've had for ever, probably a rebrand. I also like the round deburrers with a concave side and a convex side, for deburring pipe ends inside and out.
@Dmarkus_greene2 ай бұрын
Ive got pretty much every noga deburing tool they make and ive never seen the convex tool before. Im not even sure how that would work on the outside of a pipe.
@drengskap2 ай бұрын
@@Dmarkus_greene That one isn't a Noga tool, it's a plumber's pipe deburrer. The concave side is for the outside of the pipe, the convex side is for the inside. Very handy on PVC waste pipes.

The General Tool #482 is my favorite so far. I can't say that the blade is any better but it is removable and the handle is slim like the Milwaukee so it fits in tight spots fairly well.
@HJW7022 ай бұрын
Thanks... just bought it on Amazon for $11.21. Comes with two blades for cheaper than the one blade Noga RB10002 for $16.45 (both made in Israel so very likely same product)

How do you change the blades tho?
@jimmyt39462 ай бұрын
Instead of drilling the 4 holes, why don’t you just cut the plug to just above the black line? Shorten the plug flush to the bottom of your gray tank.
@lastbesttool2 ай бұрын
I thought about doing that after I drilled the holes. It does make sense, but I just figured that the larger the plug the stronger it would be on the faucet end. In reality, cutting it would have been much easier, but certainly not as challenging. More tools = more fun!
