Looks like it works well enough. The fact that you need well over 1" of thread exposed for smaller hardware makes its potential uses quite limited. If they were smart, they would make them in a set with much shorter cones and sell as a 3-4 piece set. 2 things I can think of these would be great for is damaged exhaust manifold studs and hammer in concrete wedge anchors.

essinem4130 I totally agree a shorter cone would be quite beneficial. If you notice their add it only shows larger bolts. but it does work you'll need at least 1 1/4 inches to deburr smaller bolts

you should try to cut one stainless steel bolt ,dont hammer ..cut it off and try...then the story may difference

I think 8/32 is the same as 1/4, but I'm not an expert. Thanks for the video.

chesshooligan you are correct it was a typo. in this case its meant to be a screw size #8-32. 8 being the screw size and 32 the thread count. 32 per inch a fine thread screw.Thanks for pointing that out and thank you for viewing.

@@TheShackHome Ahhhhhh, it's all clear now. We'll blame it on the numbnuts who had the idea of using fractions rather than the decimal point to describe measurements smaller than one inch.
