Debutts Yard In Chattanooga Tennessee RR Switching, Trains Passing! CSX Train Flys Past The Cliff!

Watching Railroad Switching And Trains Passing Under Me While On Cliff At Big Railroad Yard In Chattanooga Tennessee. 3 Trains Moving At The Same Time At One Point In The Live Action! We Also See A Perfect Hobo Camp. This 2nd Largest Norfolk Southern Yard Is Debutts Yard. CSX Runs Right Next To Coffey's Cliff And Has The Fastest Trains In The Yard Area. How Many Trains Do You Count & What Is Your Favorite Part Of This Video?
This is my second Video from Debutts Yard. The first video was filmed on our first day in Tennessee and the second part was filmed a few days later on our last day. Scott @1960gambit and I spent a few days in Tennessee and Georgia. I rode here with Scott and on this day we got here early in the morning. This video starts off with 2 Norfolk Southern trains passing in opposite directions. At one point in the video you can see 3 trains moving at the same time. This is an awesome place to be up high and watch the trains below. All kinds of graffiti is passing by.
I also take a walk on the trails and show the hobo and Railfan hand out areas. There are picnic tables and a desk. We signed our names on the pole by the cliff and I signed a picnic table. The CSX trains go by at a pretty good speed on the track closest to the cliff. This site reminds me a lot of Canal Ridge in Cincinnati. It also has a raised area where you can watch CSX and NS trains entering and leaving a huge railroad yard. Both yards are also located near major cities and accessed by gravel lanes.

The cliff is the best place with the best view of the trains as they go by and seeing more than one train passing is a really good sight and this is an awesome train yard, a lot of other great areas for trains and seeing the most beautiful countrysides of Tennessee and Ohio, as always a lot of great train action as well as the amazing live action pets at home guarding the property and the slide shows with some great sounding rock and roll take care and thanks again Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲

Another good mixed freight/auto rack coming into the yard. It had five loads of new new ties that I'd like to have. I think I could heat my house for over five years withh all of that wood! Unfortunately, I don't think my house is the destination for those. 😂😂😂

JT I really like it there at Coffey’s Cliff but just think how many road trains that comes in and out of that place every day in a 24 hour period I bet it’s way over 100 because that is Norfolk Southern second the biggest yard which their biggest one is in Altoona Pennsylvania, the Juanita yard and that is also the biggest locomotive shop in the United States. They work on all railroad locomotives for EMD and GE and both of those companies stand behind any work that they do on a locomotive at the Juanita yard as far as warranty but anyway, my friend another awesome video and I could sit there all day long watching that just watching the switching going on but you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one

That CSX line soon turns eastward, to your right. The NS line goes a bit further before turning eastward. The two cross at the diamond in downtown Dalton on the way to Atlanta. NS to Knoxvilke also soon turns westward, then north to Knoxville.

NS 3202, SD40-2 is in a group of 75 units that were rebuilt with a new cab and low short hood. The second group of switchers, NS 738 is a RP4C slug with cab and can lead a consist. I'd almost bet the square top steel cars haul slabs, sheets or I beams rather than coils.
