I am a black man and I have loved this song ever since I heard it. I was living in Darlington South Carolina and WJMX out of Florence South Carolina was playing Baby Come Back. I am still today in love with the song. I was talking to my wife and song a few lyrics of the song and she said "I remember that song." So I looked it up and played it then sent it to her phone. As I am writing this text she is calling me so we can reminisce on where we were and what we were doing when this song was a hit all over the sweet USA. Thank you Player for such a sweet hit. I am sure a lot of babies were born as a result of BCB.

I am so pleased to see that in this day and age that some people can see past race, creed and color, and just dig the music. For the record I am white. And my recent uploads on KZbin and spotify were Dazz Band, the Johnson Bros, and Brick. The lesson children; music has no race, creed or color to enjoy. It just has to feel good. One last thought; love each other in spite of what you see on TV

You can construct a semi-unimpeachable case in support of the proposition that the 70s was the best decade in music with nothing more than a handful of beautifully crafted Steely Dan yacht rock CDs. "Baby Come Back", is one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. Not sure exactly where I'd rank it in my mix. Better than #10 but not quite #1, but pretty darn close. I know I've listened to that song over a thousand times through the years. It's so good and I never get tired of hearing it. If I'm scanning XM radio in my car and come across this song on whatever channel, I immediately stop scanning. Ambrosia's, "How Much I Feel", is another song I feel incredibly passionate about. That late '70's and early '80's era produced some of the best music in history to me. "How I wish to God that you were here!"
