Player was started in 1977 by Peter Beckett and JC. JC Crowley went to do country music and battled throat cancer. John Friesen owned a video company. Ronn became Ridge Forrester on a Soap Opera for years. Peter the guitarist was in Little River Band for 9 years.

I feel like this song has been used in a lot of movies and commercials. It's such a classic that people have heard the chorus and might not know where from. This is a get a couple beers in you and croon it at the top of your lungs with your buddies with no shame song.
