Problem is that the modern astrology decans have NOTHING to do with the ancient egyptian decans (say Senmut or Sethi roof astronomy paintings). Decans in ancient Egypt (not Ptolemaic!) mark 10 days not 10 degrees. That means that they cover 360 days, not 365 days. The 5 remaining days were the epagomenal days (with their "decans") Modern astrology and egyptian's are totally NOT compatible. Also Egyptians didn't care much about planets... The hellenic influence (with babylonian zodiac) messed up the egyptian system. Also, decans had gods waaaay before hellenistic time.
