Decatur Illinos Womens Golf 1930's

We here at the Levee District page have a very special treat to share with you. These are video clips from womens golf tournaments from 1931 to 1933 here in Decatur, played at the Country Club and Sunnyside Country Club, Video was shot by the then "Pfile's Camera Shop" at 250 North Water Street, normally I would rather watch paint dry than watch golf games on TV, but this is very entertaining, the scenery, old cars along with the old buildings and the landscape from the period in Decatur is totally fascinating, I added some period music to the clips, this is truly amazing footage !
