Trust me it’s not fun for us either. Obviously I like making it to the second round every year but playing the kings every year in round 1 is just no fun anymore. If we seriously get it again for the 4th straight year I will just be sick of it. I wanna face someone different and I want the kings to have another team as well to shake it up. Well there was some panic in November as they were about to torch another season. I'm waiting to see how they'll fare on this road trip before thinking they belong on the first row. If they come out 13 out of 18 points, I'll be optimistic. Only one game played and they got 2 points! 11 more and we'll be golden. More than 13, we might actually really believe a playoff spot is assured.

This Jets fan, I'm only speaking for myself here, is sitting in the top row. They were projected to miss the playoffs, being bumped by Utah. Shannon had them at 8, prior to the season. Sitting in 1st this morning. Couldn't be more pleased. I guess Shannon pegged how I feel. I sure hope I feel this way next Wednesday.

As a Toronto fan, I think a good rule of thumb is to look at their performance and figure out where the fan base SHOULD be, then put us one level lower.

Well considering most Toronto fans plan the Stanley Cup parade in September and they are still on that high till the Leafs lose in the first round, pretty hard to base it on their fans. He'd have to invent a category for Toronto and Montreal where the fans started the planning the Stanley Cup parade before the season started. And yes, the fans are that insane thinking it's their god given rights because they won so many cups when there was only 6 teams in the league.

LOVE how so many experts had Nashville winning the Stanley cup at the beginning of the Season and Most likely NYR would be their opponent or at LEAST being one of the few in that spot. Washington and my Jets expected to struggle, etc. Theory to Reality sure can look a lot different. I still see Nashville making their way up the ladder. With the jets, I think they’re really struggling because of Dillon Samberg being out. Missing him has really highlighted how poor our defensive depth really is. If they pick up another solid D man to play behind Morrissey, I think they’ll find much more success in the playoffs.

MN fans are flying high right now. Injuries in numbers, sure. But this season almost everyone had us as a bubble team, we're competing for 1st in the league. Last year of 15m dead cap. No season ending injuries, no signs of crashing out. On top of that, Kaprizov could bring home the Hart, Richard, and Art Ross. Gustavsson could win the Vezina. Hynes could win the Jack Adams.

It's not the goaltending with Colorado. It's the refusal to change the way we play. Teams figured us out last year and we've been struggling since. Lazy play also has been a contributing factor.

As a Lightning fan I'm very happy. Best offense in NHL, top10 defense in NHL, top3 PP, Kucherov is 1st in Points per game, Point is going for Rocket Richard, Guentzel on a 7-goal streak, scoring depth is getting better, Vasy is very good. I'm soo happy.

As a Dallas fan I have to disagree about them. Yeah they have a winning record and they'll probably make the playoffs but every game is a coin flip are we going to play good or are we going to lose it. If we stay good enough to hit the playoffs are we actually going to be contender or did we manage to just coinflip our way into it. We lost 4212 the predators and then we handed the capitals a complete butt kicking. Panic may not be the best word but it's definitely aggravating.

No panic in CBJ. The team is trending in the right direction overall. The above 500 record that we briefly had made this season an improvement already. There are good signs in the right direction with KJ's improvement, Monahan's good play, Zach's numbers have been great, etc. We likely won't be a playoff team again until the goals against improves. Until then we continue to improve step at a time.

I think you have the Canucks precisely where they should be. The Canucks don't have any panic. They are basically a point or two back of the three teams ahead of them with a game in hand, only four points off their pace from last year, AND they are just finally getting everyone healthy (except for Hronek who is still out). Last year, the team was riding an astonishing shooting percentage. This year, the team is showing that they can win in other ways- case in point: they have the same number of losses over 30 games as they had last year.

Pens are definitely trending up but i think they're pretty fragile in terms of being able to avoid catastrophic losing streaks. I think we'll probably see at least two more horrific 5 game stretches that will keep them out of the post season.

I'm definitely a little concerned about the Canucks with all the locker room drama and trade talks with Miller and Pettersson. We all knew they would regress but now it seems like a possibility they don't even make the playoffs or are a first round exit if changes aren't made. I hope we don't have to lose any of our stars to rectify issues with the team, like how inconsistent they are. Every night you on you're not sure which version of the team you're about to watch.
