Any other North Country person get the feeling when at home during a deep snow that lasts for days, that time actually seems to stand still? When I lived in the city that the only time it was really quiet was when snow made driving difficult, cars, if they were out at all, were going very slowly and the snow muffled tire sounds. It was always a blast to walk the city, feeling like you owned it. Snow before it turns to brown salty muck is magical!

Wow, this is winter how it should be. Last January we could already go outside in t-shirts and jeans, because the weather conditions were already like in Spring. (+15°C and sun all days). Words like "snowdrifts, heavy snowfall, snowsweeper, snowchaos" won't exist any more in the German language, when the winters will stay as bad as they are in the moment.

Toby W. It sucks so much. I’d do anything to move out and not have to bundle up, scrape, shovel, drive in snow, or feel like my hands are turning numb and immobile. Summer is the best season.

Radical Radish actually where I live last winter my town in the u.s. had a snow storm. I had a blast in it.
@turdfurgusson6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Winnipeg is not real prone to huge storms. It's kind of shadowed. Places like New Brunswick, Nova Scotia get the big storms, but they are about the same amount as what the Northeast US gets. The only place where anything less than 80cm would not be considered a storm would be the Canadian Rockies. 40 cm would be huge for most large Canadian cities like Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.

@turdfurgusson3 жыл бұрын
This one is cool with the Christmas lights and night time, then you catch the clouds at the end. I also like that you don't exaggerate the amount of snow that has fallen. Other videos will say "40 inches of snow in 6 hours" or something, and only like 8-10" fell. This is a legit 16" of snow. I see the snow drifted after it fell. That always happens where I live. I hate it. Really pisses me off. I like uniform snow. Also, I wish the plows were that good in my city. It's always like 2 days before they plow here, and it's all rutty by then.
@MrJeff67429 жыл бұрын
Here where I live, we only have two seasons, winter and summer. It's bone-dry all year long. Every single day, it's always sunny, not a cloud in the sky day or night, that's ALL YEAR LONG. The summers are 120+ and winters are -10s. It's a desert here. Hate it.
@tudorarada468 жыл бұрын

The Melon Man No. ENJOY it. I mean certainly visit one time to enjoy sled riding or a white Christmas but do NOT move out of Florida. You will be miserable with the snow in no-time. It makes life a living hell having to bundle up, scrape, shovel, drive, etc. plus cold air dries out your skin and makes your hands numb and you’ll never want to go outside.
People saying they wish they had snow it looks nice on video and pictures but untill you have to drive in it its not so pretty an fun haha .

I agree. Also scraping and shoveling is no fun too. Also hate spending extra time to bundle up. And people forget snow is usually accompanied by some BRUTAL cold, especially in the Northern US like the Great Lakes region and the North Central, and the upper east coast.
