I feel you on the "start over" a theme you hate. I did the exact same thing for November : it was my phd defense month, i was so proud of my sketch but botched the color scheme and it bugged me so much! And i did not have time to paint it again as i had my phd defense to prepare... I finally painted it again on November the 26th and 27th after my defense : had to suffer a painting i did not like the whole month, but at least, i'm happy with it now when i look at it =) I love your birds! 💞 And please, take care of yourself in order to avoid burning yourself out in this busy times 💞

I'm an avid bird feeder here in the desert. We get lots of migratory ones this time of year! Year round we have doves, finches, and sparrows. Now we have robins, nut gatherers, little goldfinches (who LOVE my sunflowers), and even a woodpecker!

I think you will like the monthly lists! I have been using your rolling weekly technique for work since early 2020 and I love it. Mine, however, is a rolling bi-weekly because I just found it too overwhelming to rewrite every week. I make enough progress in two weeks to merit a rewrite. Also, for people like me who end up doing unplanned things for their job half the time, I write what I actually accomplished on the side with the days. It's hard to remember what I actually accomplished, so having it written down helps me feel like I actually did something useful. I'm sure the monthly strategy wouldn't suit you during the remainder of the year, but during a super busy and overwhelming month, it's a brilliant retooliing. 💗🐧

If it’s any consolation, I also scrapped my first December plan! I attempted to make an advent calendar in my bullet journal, but I was struggling to make it look how I wanted. I ended up just taping a really cute Christmas card in , and then making the calendar on the inside of the card

🐧 I love the new spread arrangement! I hope it works out for you! I also love chickadees! When I lived in North Carolina, I feel like I used to see them a lot more than I do now in Rhode Island, but maybe that was my child eyes at work back then and I just haven't noticed them. 🤔 I'll be keeping an eye out this winter.

Well done for having the patience to start again. I don't follow themes and my monthly spreads don't include art (i use a print of a photo for a bit of decor, but that's it) so i don't really have instances where i need to start over, but i imagine it was an exhausting decision to make. gorgeous spread as always, chickadees are so cute!! 🎄question: would you consider switching to a notebook with more pages and using dailies instead of weeklies? that may solve your problem of having to write in multiple different places.
