Beautiful album, Chelsey! When I scrap Dec Daily, I try to make it as festive and Christmassy as I can so I will usually include a few Christmas events that are in November. I'm on Day 10 of 2023 and I've already got my 2024 album & kit so I'm trying to finish by December. ❤🎄🤞

It's nice to include those festive events and I do the same thing. We usually put our tree up in November and it always goes into the album. There are no rules! I hope you're making good progress on 2023 and that's awesome you're ready for 2024!

You can do it! December Daily is one of those projects that can go on and on, I'm hoping this year to work on it more during the month and actually finish my album by the end of January...we shall see!

I love this so much! I have always wanted to do one of these December Albums. We are empty nesters, so we haven't had much going on the last few years. This year, I need to make a conscious effort to document stuff, even if I think it is boring, lol.

Yes you definitely should! I have a video posting tomorrow (Nov 3) showing a bunch of my past projects and many of those years we didn't have our daughter, so it might give you some ideas for documenting your month. Your story is definitely worth telling!

I love your album. I wasn’t well last December so couldn’t take a photo everyday but I was also documenting everyday life when I could.

It's hard to document the month when you're not well. We had a fair amount of sickness and I ended up rearranging photos for several days because I didn't want to tell multiple stories about being sick. I'm really hoping this year will be better and I hope yours is as well!

That card front die is from the Close To My Heart Cherished Cardmaking Workshop stamp & die set. It's such a pretty one!

Was the stitching on the into and final pages done by hand or machine?

That is hand stitching. I use embroidery floss and I love the texture it adds.

Beautiful. Are the photos and journaling from the actual date? I mean are the photos on day 3 actually of December 3 ?

Sometimes the story is from the actual day, but sometimes it's not. If I have a lot happen in one day I'll move it to a different day and tell two stories. We put up our tree in November but I always include it in the album. I'm flexible with my rules! lol
