~~A bit about us and our budget ~~
Currently we are a family of 5 with one on the way! My husband - Dustin, our infant baby - bean, our 6 year old german shepherd - Nala, our 4 year old golden - Simba, and me. We are completely cashless budgeters (of course with the exception of 'cash only' scenarios) - the reason why is because not only do we find it hard to remember to carry cash, but we also use the opportunity of using credit cards to build our credit and to accumulate 2% cash back on everything, even on bills if no fees allows. Ally has spending buckets for their checking accounts.

Ohhhh!! Thank you! I just looked into it more and it looks like it’s a max of 30 “spending buckets” same as “savings buckets” too 😧 No minimum or maintenance fees either!!! Ahh now we’re deff going to switch over after baby next year.

@@myOliveBlue Yes, I'm currently "testing" the spending buckets for my fixed expenses. So far, so good.

Ahh i’m so tempted - I think I’m going to start messing with it since no maintenance fees but really make moves after baby comes. The only thing I feel uncomfortable with is it’s online only 😭 I never ever go to the bank, but it’s nice to know if I ever need physical cash I can just stop by one… hmm - do you use ally primarily or also keep another financial institution that has physical branches just in case ?
