I feel that "decent garage" is such an understatement of the quality of work being done to these historic trucks by a single dude out of his garage. its such a cool thing to be able to share in the journey.

Totally agree! This tear down too me a total of 20 hours. Had it been a rust bucket donor it would have taken closer to 80 and then all the extra work to restore it

Interesting AF connection w/the Reaper/Predator Driver...............have two ex USAF trucks in build (both W350s).........originally painted in Air Force Blue.......one of these "Six Packs" was used by Minuteman Missile Crews up in the Montana neck of the woods.......the other a flight line vehicle that spent time at TAC (now ACC) bases......some time at Mountain Home in Idaho....parts are fairly plentiful other than the rear cab doors, rubber, etc.....
@decentgarage Жыл бұрын
That's awesome insight. If you been around the channel and seen my silver crew cab is is also an ex air force flight line truck from eielson AFB in Alaska.

You can, you just have to notch the gasket around each of the screw heads.

If he lives in an HOA he would already be fighting fines and going to court. People hear of horrible HOA abuses of power. The HOA I dealt with would have fined him already into the thousands of dollars. I could see to many vehicles and running a business out of his home. Although he isn't really running a business it looks that way. The HOA cummunity I lived in didn't allow commercial vehicles, boats, motorcycles, RV campers. Also you were allowed two cars oh and no grills or smokers. Most of Florida is now HOA and most of them are ran and ruined by lawyers.

You mentioned about windshields being so hard to find but LMC is selling them for a price that seems to good to be true. You have any insights on what LMC is selling or you just referring to original windshields being hard to find?

Love the channel and your work! You live in a beautiful home and a beautiful neighborhood. In a future video please let us know how your neighbors and possibly a HOA allow you to continue these activities in your front yard and driveway. You must really have understanding and supportive neighbors which is good for you and this channel. Eager to see the next video in this series.
