Dechroming My Astra VXR - Why Didn't I Do This Sooner?!

In this video we're wrapping the window trim and boot strip on the Astra VXR in gloss black vinyl wrap. This is a massive transformation over stock, considering it's such a cheap mod! Also going on are some custom black and blue gel badges from Unity Stickers, which really finish off the look.

just ordered a red radge for mine i noticed it sat them horizontal instead of vertical the badge practically covers it so you can’t see it , worth a try

Alot better👍 but you missed the last step by doing the fog surrounds, iv done mine in blue but if you have spare black then that will do. They simply clip out you can take them inside to wrap then just clip them back in

Fogs will be removed and brake cooling ducts fitted instead soon, so I didn't bother with the surrounds 😅

Good job I bought the same stuff off ebay for the sides didn't need water or hairdryer as sides are small I cheated and got my boot wrapped professionally 😊

Yeah good choice, I feel like the boot is best done by a professional. It was very hard to get it looking acceptable and it's still not perfect!

I ordered "Gloss Nitrous Blue" with gel inlays, luckily it turned out pretty close to Arden Blue 🙂

Does your astra was broken and towed if towing eye is screwed in?

No, you need a towing eye fitted for track days.
