James. I have an l77 in my Caprice ppv. It’s an aluminum 6.0. With flat top pistons like you have. It has the 823 heads on it. I run the F35 cam from Texas speed with now issues. The BFD cam is a little smaller than the F35 and should work fine. Unless you milled the heads. In that case forget I said anything.

i just really enjoy my left hand drive supra 6speed over rhd. more of a convince thing and moding them is way better vs rhd keep this in mind because you are limited on space on turbo kits due to the steering shaft. hope you see this :)

Just curious why the ptv clearance is an issue. Is it due to the bfd cam or are the heads milled? I’m on a ls2 with ls3 heads and a btr pds3 cam and don’t have ptv problems. 🤷‍♀️

That's a keep forever car. Just get the vvt head. 500-800hp max with a conservative tune. No silly two-step battles. Build the suspension for a great Traction in the corners. For a capable daily driver. Possibly make it a show quality Supra even LS's.

i had a moment just like this with a car that was a childhood dream car. a gift to my self. and was unable to keep due to these exact same reasons. it just wasnt clean enough for me and with the money in bodywork i could have just bought a cleaner one. however as with most things there was a silver lining, i finished an accidental dream car. my first car. you will have this moment too in time. im sure of it.
