Cross is a beast. He just comes out of situations you wouldn't believe. Coming back 7-14 against gurney to win 17-15. And coming back from 0-4 sets to beat dobey 5-4.

what's crazy about that gurney match is that he then got 9--0 up vs smith in the final. 19-1 in 20 legs across a major semifinal and final, i wonder if even MVG or Taylor have done that

I sometimes throw that way and when it goes I get it, I can see why it works with the alignment. But obviously I miss by some way on a lot too so I never stick to the style!

It's the percentage play. People always remember when the opponent takes out the finish but they don't remember the times when someone goes for the bull, misses, and then misses two darts at a double next turn. Though that being said 170 is the easiest bullseye finish, it's probably close

SPOILER IN HERE: Half the Highlights vid is Cross and Van Veen. - The sudden death leg situation feels a bit unfair, even though Van Veen had so many match darts, ultimately it gave the advantage to Cross whoalready had the advantage of throwing first in the match. What a match though regardless. Let's scrap the rest of the tournament and have every game replaced by Cross vs Van Veen rematches.
