I like Peter but he can act like a tosser sometimes, and I’m not talking about his pathetic dance across the stage. Last season he was taken to the final game by a young player whose name I didn’t know in a tournament, the lad went to bump fists for the decider, a standard thing to do, and Wright refused, just waved him away. Apparently not famous enough to touch Wright’s hand. He also acted like an idiot towards Michael Smith in the doubles making a silly comment in the practice room when passing MS about his supposed injured shoulder, both MS and LH didn’t go much on it….MS got his own back in interview afterwards saying Wright must have strong shoulders he’s been holding up the Prem League all season

Nice one for not spoiling the final. By putting in the header or showing a picture of who won. Well done I commend you. 😁
Thoughts below: After Humphries came back from 6-2 down against Littler, he was never losing that final to Heta. Littler looked bamboozled after that one quite frankly, not that I blame him. He’ll be thinking about that one for a while. But you can never write off Humphries; something some incompetent fools (Pyke) still don’t understand.
@johndoyle2652 ай бұрын
Luke littlers bad attitude will do him in the long run, as opposed to Humphries good attitude where is very aware that you won't win all the time and he just takes the wins and the loses as he knows that the way its going to be and goes for all players ,no matter how good they are.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love him as a player but I do genuinely have to say, Littler’s incredibly disrespectful spoilt brat attitude to losing matches is actually really starting to get right on my bloody wick now; in fact I’m getting sick and tired of it. It’s even more strange that he’s acted like that in front of Humphries because I certainly don’t remember him acting all sulky the last 2 times he lost to Humphries. (the WC Final and the European Grand Prix) If I remember correctly, both times he was all gracious and smiling and clapping and joking and he gave him a big embrace as well! As unbelievably talented as he is for a 17 year old, he needs to learn very quickly that he won’t win every single match in every single tournament that he plays in; the sooner he gets that into his head, the better!

Love Peter Wright proving all these “darts” fans wrong (mainly people who started watching because of Littler) that don’t know Wright is an Icon of the game has won just about everything there is to win and has some of the highest averages in the PDC. Seen many comments over the last year saying he wouldn’t win games “down the pub” yet he posted a 103 average against Price who was the most inform player to that point. He was unlucky to come against a Damon Heta who couldn’t miss a double as Wright averaged higher than Heta and still hit 44% on his doubles. These “darts” fans should try picking up a dart and see just how hard it is to post a 103 average over 9 legs along with the pressure Wright is under anyway.

@@boom4301 Oh you clueless fanboy. Have a look at his long list of very early eliminations over more than the last 6 months. He kept on getting smashed by all and sundry. Solely based on those results he wouldn't be ranked in the top 100. He was fast becoming a meme. Jog on champ.
@boom43012 ай бұрын
@@gustaaf1892 Wow, never been called a clueless fanboy before thats for sure been watching darts for over 25 years kid not just since Luke Littler came on the block. I haven’t denied Wright has gone through a rough run of form in the last 12 months mainly because of his inability to hit pressure doubles. My original point was referring to misinformed “darts” fans something you have already proved yourself to be that just because Wright is losing more often than he was winning against the top professionals in the world did not suddenly mean that he wasn’t a top pro darts player himself. Try picking up a dart and throwing a 100+ average then you would start to understand Wright can still play darts and play it to the highest standard. He has posted multiple 110+ averages during this “rough” period and more 100+ averages over the weekend. Wright is a top darts player and just because he isn’t picking up many titles does not mean he’s suddenly a pub player. The fact he’s managed to stay ranked among the top players is a testament to the previous success he has had to be able to stay there while winning very little something new “darts” fans wouldn’t understand. Stick to watching football kid and enjoy the rest of your Sunday👍
@gustaaf18922 ай бұрын
@@boom4301 He stayed ranked because those are based on a period that is longer than just the last year, otherwise he'd be in trouble without favourable seedings. Over the last 6 months he has hardly beaten anyone other than some low level local hack in the first round. His form didn't warrant him being in the Premier League, but there he was nonetheless embarrassing himself. NZ was a positive change, but it remains to be seen if he continues on from there. Maybe he will if he sticks to the darts he used in Hamilton instead of constantly tinkering with different weights. You can also stop making dumb assumptions about people you don't know you helmet.
