The issue with Five Guys I've found is consistency. I love them when they're good. But sometimes... they're a pass. But... usually I make up with some cajun seasoning :)

The funny thing is I remember reading an interview with the founder and he was so proud of them. One of his sons supposedly was into fries and goes around to locations teaching them how to do it right.

I personally know the people who started five guys. They only manage about half and the rest have different managers so the food and consistency of the foods goodness just depends on if the workers were trained by the original five guys or different people

It could be because I'm an East Coaster but when i went to California a couple years ago and tried In N Out I wasn't a fan of fries. They were fine run of the mill fries. I would've ranked Five Guys and Taco Bell way higher. But hey different strokes for different folks and i respect your ranking.

I didn't know that Taco Bell even had fries... I would almost swear that ours doesn't have them but I will check next time I'm there.💖 McDonald's are always my favorite especially if I don't feel well as they settle my tummy... That said we don't have In and Out burger or Pollo Loco... so I cant judge those.

Lots of places seem to be able to make a decent burger but seriously struggle at making good fries. I’m in Canada so we don’t have a lot of those fries. McDs are by far the superior fries from fast food chains here.
