It's Sunday. A Greenwood bonsai video, some reggae and Corin with mute off. What a morning. Many thanks.

The continuation of the driftwood from the old trunk and into the hollow is awesome. It binds the whole thing together.

Nice one. After seeing the carving demonstration at the Bonsai Bash my brother-in-law thought aloud that it would be a good idea to do a few POV videos. Bonsai ones, like. So thank you good people of Greenwood. 🌿

You sure are the Bonsai master Corin , i hope Josh is well too ? I love the carving, something i would love to do on my Hornbeam which i think is a European ? Also i would like to do some on my privet but sometimes is so hard to decide how to start and how much to do, but these videos are an invaluable resource. Loved the talk through this time so interesting to listen to you talk through !!

Love your confidence when carving as there is no going back and I bet the smell is amazing. Hats off to Josh for the chose of music. Do you seal the carved wood to protect it?
Hi there great vid again guys what’s the bit do you use on the smaller grinder for the detail ?
@peggygodley68182 ай бұрын
What month do you clipper it
@bonsai_life_style4 ай бұрын
So no lime sulfur then maybe some no colour protection for wood ?

Hi Corin - many thanks for another great demo. What bits did you use for the Makita and dremel? Cheers Craig

Hi Corin, great video and nice job on the carving. Can I please ask what model it is of the Carving tool with the Cord on it ? I Really want to get one of these ! Thanks for your help. 🙏 Keep up the good work.
What would be your preferred method to preserve the wood and stop it rotting ? I’m not too keen on lime sulphur on deciduous trees also.

Out of curiosity, you say it's not going to break the budget. How much do you typically charge for a session like this? I understand that it varies per tree but what kind of range are we talking
@greenwoodbonsaistudio4 ай бұрын
Currently charged at £60 hr and this was less than an hours work
@777greglee4 ай бұрын
@@greenwoodbonsaistudiothat’s really reasonable for a professional. I honestly expected much more.

Less than I expected! This kind of thing always seemed like a budget breaker but that's a very fair price
