Hello Dkayed community. I have a question, happend recently in Master Duel. I had activated F. Cruel Whale effect (destroy one card on each field), then I chained De-fusion targeting the mentioned monster, my opponent respond with Ghost Belle and Haunted Mansion, so when the chain resolves, I couldn't destroy my De-fusion on my field (it didn't allowed me to target it. Why? It's because of the card's activation being negated? My opponent only had one Appollousa, one Phantom of Yubel, Nigthmare throne and Nigthmare pain. I had done this on Solo Mode and it allowed me to destroy De-Fusion, so I think it because of Ghost Belle's effect. Why negating an activation put a card on a non-targeting situation like that?

I’m not sure this is the right explanation, but since De-fusion failed to activate, it was considered not existing on the field I guess? Kinda like how when a monster’s summon(or special or whatever) gets negated and failed-the card(the monster) is considered not landed on the field.

talking about pot of greed how impactfull it will be on the meta and the card it self if pot of greed is unlimited but got errata which say "cant be activated on your first turn and can only be activated once per turn"

It would be interesting to have an event that completely bans the top 8 decks and limit how many special summons/quick effects you could use per turn. Think it would lead to an extremely unique meta for an event.

Your argument doesent make any Sense. Every deck besides tenpai and numeron is designed to be better going first. Only because some of them are a little Bit to good or the Opponent didnt play/draw the right cards to counter them, doesent mean, tenpai would be fine. I could make the same Argument: Look at all those decks with their linear combos, bring back full power tear-ishizu. Only because a deck has a special gimmick, doesent mean its fine.
