Man, this sounds like what I need! My guitar picks up everything from the phone lines, my computer, fans and just about everything electronic in my house.

You tha man. Agree about the TC mentioned, the reviews duped me. Thx for a great video demo. Was looking for a gate for my modded JVM & Jube. Just ordered this baby. 🤘🏻

It sounds like it's cleaning even after you start playing, it seems as if it is active while you are playing and it seems cleaner..not just between notes but it eliminates the same noises while you are playing! That's HUGE! I ordered one today, my HT40MKII needs a bigger room l don't have..lm hoping this does the trick.

I'm boosting my sound up in the mids with an EQ pedal. This causes a lot of feedback on high volume. I'm hoping this pedal to fix this problem live. Now need to figur out how to best use this in my chain.

I’m actually looking into one of these to see if I can use for my vocals and bass, and i have a feeling this will work great. I NEED the highest fidelity.

My guess is that if you use better cables for the loop it will exhibit less or nearly no treble loss. Great demo! I am thinking of getting one and having it be the only thing in the loop with the shortest most high quality cables I can find.
@KelsterVonShredster6 жыл бұрын
my loop cables are George L's (the thin ones you see in this video) which are highly rated quality wise.

I heard it kills the high gain sccreaming feedback when close to the amp and stage monitor. If it can do that then it is amazing..I don't see how it could I would move the amp but I have wondered about it..
@edima3 жыл бұрын
Can absolutely confirm that. I've never had that problem when usigg the g-string in the 4 cable method. I also have the original decimator 2, which does give a little feedback when you walk close to your cab on stage (the reason I upgraded to the g-string) but it's few and far between and only at louder volumes. Great products all in all.

I just ordered this pedal, hopefully it resolves this weird static/morse code issue that apparently occurs when my computer is turned on when my strat is connected through my amp, it goes away when i turn off the pc.
@heythere6983 Жыл бұрын
Did it fix that ?
@embazle Жыл бұрын
@@heythere6983 Sort of, there's not this constant noise that bleeds thru anymore, but its still there when I strum/play the guitar, and that's only if I'm playing very close attention (knit picking if you will) and during the in-betweens where no strumming is occurring and the sound gate is still open there is that potential of the noise to appear, but not as bad. You can adjust the threshold to cut off but that can take away from the tone or release of a sound.. It kind of reminds me of a gate to where once a certain noise threshold is met it will open the gate and the sound comes in. The sound is loud enough to where you don't hear the noise but if there was no gate, you'd definitely hear it. I hope that makes sense.

How do you set it up if you have no other pedals. Just guitar to the pedal to the mixing board or the amp

this was a long time ago, just download the manual and read it, I don't remember sorry

Are u using a pedal board with this or just straight into the Amp if so does it work without a pedal board and does it get rid of feed back by chance? I'm just learning about gates idk much about em

@Max-The-Axe Жыл бұрын
I have a dual rec as well and can’t seem to get the decimator to work perfectly. How do you have yours setup?
@KelsterVonShredster Жыл бұрын
i don't remember exact settings but it's not difficult to setup, i recommend you read the manual...I know, dumb answer but it's amazing how many people don't read the manual then wonder why they have problems. You basically have to find the sweet spot there it shuts off just the right amount of noise that you can live with....no noise gate is perfect btw, I've tried many but G String are def my favorite

Is it necessary to use the effects loop on Noise Suppresors? Im thinking of getting the ISP mini decimator and it doesnt hav an effects loop.

If you get the g string you will have to use the send return with the guitar plug in and out.

patrick gallant the same way. If you want the full effect you HAVE to run it through the FX loop send and return
