with all the pinging and gaining life sanguine bond and exquisite blood would be absolutely disgusting not only do they have to discard, but they would also lose life for discarding that then gains me life and then them getting pinged again for that life i gain..... talk about mean LOL

+1+1 counters just beat this deck

Every Maha deck should be running pestilence to keep creatures down. You have to go pretty hard with +1/+1 counters to beat instant speed repeatable removal. You can definitely run blight beetle as well. Depending on your removal suite he can be fragile, but he's great against +1/+1 counters, and can always be justified in Maha.

@joelrandall2348 most +1+1 counter decks are in very good shape by time you even play maha I'm not saying maha isn't good I'm just saying it has a very clear weakness and it just happens to be a very common type in casual commander
