This is part 2 of a series of videos I made in the summer of 2009. I deleted them from my channel in 2010. I thought it might be interesting to repost these, 13 years later. Sorry, but part 1 is lost!

This is the steve ramsey that got me into the channel, old mic quality and maybe one day he would upload that video making chess pieces

Steve ages in reverse, like Benjamin Button.
@patcj6132 жыл бұрын
You should do a series on how you reverse the aging process. You seem younger now than you did then.

He discusses it one, or several, of the "Lockdown" series videos, probably the Q&A video.

This wasn't nearly as bad as you let on. I like hearing about the process as you work through projects.

Somehow you've managed to look younger now than in 2009! Good for you man

If you have files you can't open or copy, it's probably a fault on the hard drive, and it will only get worse. There are tools to check it (on Windows: right-click on the drive > properties > tools > check errors). You should make a backup on another hard drive while you can still read the other files. If important files are lost, specialized companies might be able to recover them.

Thank you! I'm going to try copying them over today. The drive is SO slow to load. I think it's about dead. I hope I can save most of the files. Its everything from 2008-2013. I have a 2014 drive that won't even open. Maybe I'll see if I can recover it!

That is the worst part of joining a good channel "later in life" you miss all the good stuff that came before and made the channel what it is. Yes, you can go back over the years and find stuff, but I would like an easy way to start watching a channel from beginning to end. Thank you for re-posting
@TheMijman2 жыл бұрын
that's aweome! I'd love to see your old stuff from back then.

Hi Steve. I hope you and your entire family are safe and well. This idea of yours to post deleted videos from your channel was great. Video resolution doesn't matter. The content is excellent. I had two revealing visions in this video. The first, you using a handsaw and the second a hand plane on your bench. Haha. That's a total of 4 times I've seen you using hand tools in all of your 3 million channel videos. Keep posting more old unreleased videos. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. greetings. Marcelo

That poor deck 🤣💕👍 Great job Steve. I've tried to save a lot of projects over the years too. Usually end up huge can o worms 🥫🐛

I like the gray in the hair in the older videos. I enjoy looking back at your past projects. I thought I had watched them all but I guess I missed some along the way.

I think your channel is ok now, but I really liked it back then! I used to watch every one of your videos back then- it was really engaging and interesting.

Yikes, that's rough. But the presentation was already solid. Not a bad start for a channel.

Steve you can't only release one per week! I'm already invested and want more episodes! One (or two?) per day please!

I enjoyed seeing this and know to look for rot on our covered deck now and what to do about it to salvage it. So thanks for sharing this. It was fun to see and I hope you can get your other videos restored okay.

I actually thought of doing this with someone else's deck... cuz the cost of wood is so much now...
@Toyotajunkie2 жыл бұрын
I didn't think that was as bad as you think. Then again I grew up before the internet had pictures and video at all. Lol! I will definitely hop over to "plus" and check them out!

Looking at your face now vs then.... you look younger now than prior! Must be the accumulated wood restoration products have seeped into your skin?? 😇💪🙏
