This is part 3 of a series of videos I made in the summer of 2009. I deleted them from my channel in 2010. I thought it might be interesting to repost these, 13 years later. Sorry, but part 1 is lost!

Wow Steve you look younger now! Would you consider making a video about technics you used to lose weight and keep it off? I remember you having a video about surviving cancer and joining running competitions. But did you follow a diet plan or work with a dietitian or a accountability group?

The ones saying "I miss the old Steve" are getting their fix :D I like how the old Steve often do a little laugh in the middle of his speech, maybe nervous or maybe his mind is wondering. In some of your old videos you look like you are a little crazy in a good sense :) Great job on losing weight, you ditched beer and started excercising and it really shows! I remember you telling us that people think is someone is losing weight the person is seriously ill. In your case it was not, you were getting healthier (not counting the ear situation). Great job!

It's great to see some of ur old videos. Also on a side note depending on what that tubing was, it might have been able to be placed underground. As here in new Zealand black alkathain is one of the more common pipe used for water supplies the same the blue line (water main feed from the Toby box to the house) it just depends on the pressure rating

1. Even with lumber prices today, I would still replace instead of fix. This is not a dig on you, Steve. It shows how amazing you are and how lazy I am. 2. I'm guessing you don't do a lot of lawn watering these days.(I seem to remember you "un-grassed" some of your yard) 3. You are an inspiration to all folks wanting to make lifestyle changes. You look great! 4. Thank you so much for the Weekend Woodworker, Powered Up, and Workshop courses. It would not be an understatement to say they changed my life.

Fun to see how you've grown in workmanship as well as improving your health. What a project that deck was! Thanks for sharing this and that's great you were able to retrieve from your old computer.

These are OK as they are. Glad you are healthier now.

"Restoring a deck. Part 3" Or Arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. I suffer from an opposite malady, not doing anything because I don't know what I'll eventually end up doing (which if history remains constant, will be nothing..). That's why as soon as I do something to a house, I sell it..

Lol! When you said "dirty" and "filthy" I was hoping for some innuendo or something 😅. That's how I look when getting home from my "real" job, and it only gets worse while working on the projects. Ha ha! I concur with others...ayne on this channel do a brief video about the health side??? I too have had serious health issues and I am currently trying to loose my "dad" belly (very similar build height etc). Don't take that wrong, you looked better than most back then, and you look great now! Thanks for showing the oldies!
