@@Cardlimits No no, you dont understand; they can easily OTK through dogwood while their entire gameplan falls apart to a threatening roar. Trident Dragon pop field spell is 12000 by itself, or 18000 if it decides to pop another card, way more than the 3000 Dogwood heals. Although admittedly no one is going to side t roar and just stick to throwing staple handtraps at them, which can work. Plus Dogwood is just a bad handtrap in general and youll never see it anywhere in tournaments. Even in high combo formats it does nothing because it doesnt disrupt them in anyway. Life Points dont matter unless it reaches 0, what matters is board control.

That Runick player Game 2 was awful. After the Tri-Edge draw you summon Hugin 2 and search fountain. Then you make S:P to banish Hugin from grave, Regained draw 1 and here is where you just win if you see a Runick spell.

This deck isn’t crazy OP. It’s just a really good going 2nd deck which is rare these days since you have to go first or you lose in so many scenarios

You have to understand, this deck can kill you with almost one card, that coupled with the fieldspell that gives protection. But the MAIN point about this deck is that the engine is so SMALL that it can fit so much handtraps or boardbreakers to the point where like 70-75% of the deck could just be non engine because this archetype is so compact with what it does.

Also dont compare any deck to Ishizu man, that deck was insane. Snake Eyes are currently Tier 0 but its nowhere near as strong as Ishizu.

if decks like this became prominent or if they make more decks like this battle handtraps like fader,swift, kuribo and gorz might became staple konami might even errata all or some of those battle traps, magic cylinder, sakuretsu armor, all mirror traps, draining shield, waboku, defense draw, rainbow life etc. making them a handtrap like imperm.

No one using those as far ive seen. Tenpai can play around it by synchro their lvl 10 or meteorburst before direct atk . Those battle traps garbage as well. Just use dimensional barrier or ruler of thunder instead that can skip tenpai dragon turn.

Well, yugioh is always evolve. From normal summon set 2 pass and tribute summon next turn is meta, now its bad. To special summon bunch of monster for tons of negate, now its only a rogue. Soo if u dont like it, then just move on. Or play edison format, or try dueling network with edison format? U got many option to choose, but u rather choose to be salty lol

@carnelljones8121 cool I think the fire decks are fine but don't like my main phase being skipped? I don't like when every single one of my opponents monsters are towers in mp1 and I don't get to activate card effects in battle? Sorry I want to play the game and interact with my opponent
