Jesus, Rethinking Voxels is a HEAVY shader. It takes my usual 200ish fps in vanilla down to maybe 2-3. I didn't know it could run this smooth.

I love the way the editing looks when you move your head side to side. but i dont really like thr blueness of the stone. It looks like prismarine to me. However I think I enjoy the positives more than I dislike the negatives. Great video as always Joe ❤

The visual mods themselves have glitches too that lead to motion sickness. A real game dev would smooth out all of that stuff during the dev & playtest lifecycle, but all the community shader stuff is very much "experimental"/hobbyist.

This came out amazing! The scene where you end up in the River of Souls is like a horror movie with the shaders, cinematic effect, and dungeon sounds--drown or face seemingly certain death? Some daring escapes only to realize at the end all was not as it seemed. So, so good. I hope you play with experimental film mode more! Would love to see how your creativity evolves with it.
