I'm a huge fan of Spirit Within. It's such a well balanced, neutral deck with just the right amount of masculine energy. I find it to be very grounded, plain speaking, but also kind. There is something about the neutrality of the images and the succinct symbolism that triggers my intuition in the best possible way. The booklet is also really cool, I love how each card gets a chance to speak from its own point of view. It's a deck that I always recommend wherever I go, and not just for beginners.

Very much enjoying listening to how the various decks touch you and how you work with them; doesn’t matter whether I myself am drawn to a deck your speaking about, nevertheless I like hearing how it speaks to you. I understand why Marie White replaced the Hierophant card but makes me SO sad that she replaced the 3 of Swords which I REALLY like and prefer to the edition I have of the traditional heart … but oh well. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to watching the rest of this series. I love love love the Black Tarot; I feel it is kind of the shadowy side of Cilla Conway’s Devic decks which I adore.

These videos are turning out to be dangerous. So many awesome decks! I’ve added several to my wish list-but that Art History Tarot looks absolutely amazing. I think that might be my next buy. Love your commentary and insight during these walkthroughs.

Oh my gosh the pretty pink edging on the Guardian Angels! One of my favorite "softies" decks.

I had to trim off the gold gilding and add the pink edging but now it's a manageable size. It's a feel-good deck for sure! ❤️

I'm fascinated by Spirit Within, that's going on the WL for sure. I got Playful Heart for the same reason, it's fun and childlike. I've got nothing similar & even if I don't use it often I absolutely won't part with it😋 (eta have Mary-El & it's growing on me big time. The Black Tarot I ❤ for its darkness. I had 0 b&w decks before, now a few LOL! And lastly, sorry I get ahead of myself... I've got Starchild Askashic by Noel & it's so ethereal and meditative that it's not a daily reader for me but... 💜!!!)

I have the Mary El and the Black Tarot. I think I live in the shadow because I don’t find either of them to be dark or disturbing at all lol. They both take me to less explored places in my psyche but I always feel they show me how to be empowered in my life. Now- I have the Starseed and Work Your Light, both of which like to have an attitude with me and confront me deeply lol. If I want to do some real gnarly shadowork though, I use the Ghosts and Spirits Tarot. I don’t think there’s a single comforting card in that deck haha, but it’s effective.

Have you tried the Dark Grimoire Tarot? That one’s my favorite for shadow work. I like your ghosts and Spirits tarot too. ❤️

Tarot for the Heathens I have not. I thought maybe I would have to have some background with the Necronomicon (it’s based on that to my knowledge) to work with to it’s full potential, which I do not have, but maybe not?

@@M155ABYSS I don’t have much exposure to H.P. Lovecraft’s works, but just a little. I don’t feel it’s a prerequisite AT ALL though. The art speaks for itself and is dark and haunting. I absolutely love it.

I keep my Spirit Within Tarot precisely for the male leaning energy. I find that I gravitate to predominantly female centric decks. I read for my son with this deck, as well as the Sasurabito Tarot. Omg! I love your edging with the Guardian Angel Tarot! So beautiful. I’m not brave enough to attempt the mod with mine.

My son is still young so he likes the Tarotbot deck! 😂 🥰 You should try out a mod on a cheap deck with borders just to see how it goes. You may surprise yourself!! ❤️
