I love that you came out with this when I'm in the middle of making my own Yidris landfall deck. I'm planning on focusing much less on Yidris and much more on the landfall/sac/animation side of things, though.

Gitrog, Ravenous Ride is the most underrated Landfall Commander imo. Ramp into him with another big guy to sack and youre off to the races.

You could also get nutty with Mesmeric Orb if you wanted with those bounce lands. Because Amulet actually untaps it when it enters. It doesn't enter untapped

Thx. I wanted to switch from Angry Omnath to the creative one, but had no idea, if I want to use Clone effects or earthquakes. Your list uses both so I am going to try that.

I like the idea of this video. It would make a cool series. ‘Lifegain 3 ways’. What all decks of a certain archetype have in common, the different ways to generate value and payoff. Super neat way to think about deck building.

i love landfall decks i did a simillar combo of playing lands with the bestow aura with land sacrifices such as glacial chasm and a ramunap excavator + lotus cobra to get as many landfall triggers as possible and also work with fetches to get all my lands out of my library. pretty neat

Annie Joins Up + Omnath doesn’t work how you think. It won’t double each effect, it will instead trigger two at once. For example first land will gain you 4 life and float 4 mana. Second land will deal 4 damage to each opponent.

Really like the new version of deck techs and a while ago i fell in love with landfall decks. Did you consider maybe doing a Necrobloom decktech, would be interested in seeing your take on the land dredge. Keep up the amazing videos they help me so much with deck building and getting a better understanding of the game overall.
