Jessica, how about putting a piece of painters tape on certain items that you keep floating in your maybe pile, and each time you use them you can mark a tick. That way by your next declutter you’ll know if you even used that same maybe item from the last time you decluttered. Just a thought.

If you were interested in donating some of the makeup you have barely used or even just swatches I know that Project Beauty Share will accept and sanitize them for people in need. ThatTaylaa is a KZbinr who is partnering with them to do a sort of campaign this month and she put up a recent video talking about it. I think it’s a wonderful cause and you are a wonderful person so just thought I’d share 😊♥️

Kristina Hilton That's amazing! I wish we were able to do that here (Canada). I donate makeup and skincare to my local women's shelter every year (Tati did a challenge 2 years ago), but they'll only accept new items. I buy from elf, Makeup Revolution, Tarte, etc. when they have sales, and get some tools as add ons from Amazon Canada. I adore Thatayla ... going to check out her video, so thanks for mentioning it!

The collector in me couldn’t let go of my UD naked palettes for the longest time. I never touched them and ended up giving away my naked 3 and smoky and I do not miss them! Savannah Frady I just got rid of my Naked 3. For some stupid reason, I kept using it hoping I could make an eye look I really liked, but I was never blown away by it. I finally decided to pass it on and I don't miss it at all.

I bought the Studio Makeup on the Go palette from Poshmark because of your reviews of in in past declutters - I do love it, so thank you for having recommended it in the past. I have the one with the more mauve shades - not the more golden shades. And ps - I finally gave myself permission to get rid of ALL of my regular-sizes Naked Palettes (1,2 3, Smokey, &Heat 😳) and only kept the square one with the mattes and the small ones with the mattes. I love those. It was a relief to finally give myself permission to let them go - like most, Naked 1 was my first real palette. Shade wise, Naked 3 was the best FOR ME, but because I had heard from Zabrina that the Makeup Revolution dupe of it was even better, I bought that one and I actually kept that one even though I let the Urban Decay one go. That’s a first for me....to keep the “dupe” but declutter the higher end one. Anyway, love these videos! I need to do a “JamBeauty89” Made Me Buy It video! Haha! Between you, Tati, and Nicole (YW&P), I’m not sure who’s “made” me buy more. That would be some kind of a contest though! I also can't get rid of palettees I have emotional attachment to, like my oldy Too Faced Chcocolate palette. But I noticed that with time eyeshadows in it became much dryer and ..less pigmented. Like colours became ...duller. It will be pity if it happens to my others palettes, too

Those naked palettes gotta gooooo. I sold all 3 of mine on poshmark & haven't even missed them. When I literally thought I would've cried if someone took those from me when I first got them. I kept my original naked & sold 2,3 & smoky. If they've visited the maybe pile twice, say adios! If you miss them ENOUGH, you won't truly mind repurchasing. p.s.... you won't miss them enough 😉

A B Dude chill. It’s called having an opinion and he or she was nice about giving it. Don’t get all butthurt over it. It’s only makeup, it’s something fun and light hearted. Naked pallettes aren’t everyone’s thing, it’s not bad to express your view and offer insight. And he or she is right, Jessica has put them in the maybe pile I think twice and takes them out each time and they go back later (it’s not a bad thing by any means! I think it’s funny seeing the nostalgia😄). Everyone has an opinion, you clearly differ but you don’t have to be snarky about it 🤗

I have been on a really bad kick lately..picking up palettes that are soooo bad! :( Just picked up the MR Soph X palette..swatched beautifully, brought it home..and 3 days in a row so far, bad eye looks..different eyeshadow primers, no eyeshadow primer..etc. Ugh..But, I have decluttered each palette right away. I try them out for a few weeks before letting them go. Now, i loaned out my fave JCat palette,a month ago, and I am hoping to get that beauty back. I decluttered my Wet N Wild palettes too.
