I love declutter videos. I declutter my lipstick collection and out of 80 lipsticks I ended up with only nine. It has to be one of the greatest feelings to get rid of what you don’t longer use/need. 💄😘

Jess, I love your declutter videos, but I feel like you should just keep a running donation area for all of your PR that comes in shades you won't use. That way you only open the ones your likely to keep, and if you find a formula you want to try a random shade in, then you still have it, but it won't be burrying the things you love and want to use often. 😘😘😘

Also, I love the Lancôme matte lip shakers. It’s my favorite. Basically like a liquid lip but actually doesn’t feel like it. It’s a mixture of a liquid lip and a stain. It lasts all day for me personally. Love them!

I think you were the only KZbinr that actually got threw to me about decluttering. I FINALLY decluttered my makeup because I was getting overwhelmed. And my brushes. My brushes were out of control!! It really was eye opening how much makeup I was just holding onto for no reason really. Thanks ❤️

It's OK to keep limited edition makeup! A lot of us will have it, and there's a lack of tutorials for LE stuff. Those elf x Christian Siriano Lippies are still available. The light pink one is a lip oil, and I use it as a treatment or lip balm. Great job, as always. I'm still working on my lip declutter, but I try them on so it's taking ages. 😁

Ok, Jess! I just watched like seven of your videos today while I decluttered and organized my skincare, haircare, makeup, nail products (it is laughable that I have ANY since I don't have the patience to touch up my fingernails and my toenails get gross and flaky if I leave polish on them for even a few days), and pretty much the rest of my bathroom and dresser. WOW. You really inspire me to throw away and donate stuff I won't use. If it's been on my dresser for two years and I've used it ONCE, why keep it? Your declutter videos are the best and such an inspiration.I recently decluttered my lip collection, and I was appalled to see that about 30%-40% of my products were dupes for each other. I even took a photo of the swatches on my arm so that I would remember to stop buying the same colors over and over but from different brands. I am hoping that, with a more streamlined collection (never was close to as large as yours, but I don’t test or review makeup as part of my job!), I will have a better idea of what I already own and won’t waste money on a product that’s an accidental dupe for something I already have.

Love your declutters! I absolutely love the Revlon matte lips because they are by far the most comfortable matte liquid lipstick at the drugstore. When I did my lip declutter they were the first thing I was like "I cannot get rid of"

That Maybelline Matte Ink Stain in "Lover" is AMAZING. If I have a day at work where I know I need to look good for hours, I wear that. It wears for hour and hours on me until it needs a touch up and it's the perfect slightly bright/neutral on my skin tone. So flattering and long-lasting. A little sticky for the first hour or so, but for the staying power and shade, I'll live with that.

It feels good watching you declutter, so I can just imagine how good you must have felt! I have two lipliners and twelve lipsticks/glosses. And I usually reach for just a third of them. Watching you, I went and got rid of one lip liner and kept a color like my own lips that I can use with any color; and got rid of five lipsticks. I keep a tinted lipgloss in my car (just in case) and one in my purse, which leaves five in my vanity. You are very inspiring. Thanks

Hi , I really loved my declutter, all my drug store makeup was passed on , but the only lipstick which were unopened , the rest I put into the bin. So I only kept my high end which were selected with love , and I felt so much better and my family enjoyed everything I gave to them !

I know that feeling where you need to feel "lighter and more in control". Your sitting there feeding the baby thinking, "What am I doing will ALL those lip products?" In four years I will be 60. Every matte liquid lip I tried showed every line in my lips.I can tell you that they caused many women to get lip fillers LOL! My concern is that you went so fast, and the ones you kept were all in either the berry or red category. Anything that looked remotely brown or peach were an instant NO. However, those happen to be my colors. As a beauty youtuber, I think you should be willing to demonstrate a variety of lip colors. You have neutral coloring and can pull off many looks. One suggestion I will make is, when you do such a drastic declutter, keep that box somewhere for a week or so. Look back through it to determine if there is a lip product your subscribers might want to see. OR, go through your PR boxes when they arrive... keeping only the colors you will wear. (After you possibly do a swatch test for your viewers?)
