I was bad at hoarding the "good stuff," but started rotating things out or grouping "experiences" (similar scented candle, bath bomb, body scrub, eg) and using them that way. It's like a spa or hotel vibe and adds to the joy of using them. Maybe once every week or two. You have soooo much less. It's always inspiring to see your process.

I never go by expiration dates…my brother & sister in law worked for many years for a large reputable International Pharmaceutical company…they told me that expiration dates are mandatory and required by industry regulations but the contents are internally rated for many many years longer. If things look or smell bad they probably are…if not, not much to worry about

I haven't seen a perfume body splash for years. I remember Jean Nate from when I was a kid. I can't imagine how wonderful those colognes smell. I would love to smell some authentic perfumes and colognes from France.

I never had problem skin. Then, in my fifties, I began breaking out. Also, I got an itchy rash around my eyes. I tossed my old make-up and started fresh, and my skin is back to breakout free! I never paid attention to expiration dates before. Now I do! Lol

Try fish oil, poke the capsules put it on the age spot daily to remove the dark spot🥰

Hi Sophia it's been a long time since I commented on your video but I wanted to say first off wow you look so beautiful 2nd good job on reducing and 3rd it's a tip hope it doesn't sound silly but it's super helper well when you open a new product look at how many months it expires after opening and with a fine sharpie write on the bottle what month it expires so like that when you are decluttering just by looking at that you know if it's good or expires hope my little tip is helpful xoxo

There is nothing to it. I wash and condition. Put about a tsp size of it on my hand, rub palms together and apply on my hair starting with the back finishing with the front. I comb through and air dry. That s it.

I love Lume and they recently reformulated it and got rid of that initial strong chemical smell. Now it just smells lovely.

Also- about the dark spot on your lip- I have had my whole face done (micro needling, eyebrows, eyeliner, and lipstick)! Did you know that a good "natural nude" shade should match your nipples?!?! 😮 I think it's great because I can just slap on sunblock and be out the door and still look put together. It would also hide your dark spot. NOT that I'm saying you should, even, just tossing it into the ring, as it's been fantastic for me, and even my very makeup conservative mom is looking into getting some cosmetic tattooing! I know it's not for everybody, but I wanted to put it out there. My artist is AMAZING, and not cheap, but let me tell you, she's worth every penny. If it isn't worth it for you, keep doing what you're doing because you look great!🎉

I had the same spot you have in the same place. I noticed it in my 50's and had it checked out. I was told it was most likely caused by hormonal changes. I'm 60 now and it disappeared a couple years ago. Don't be surprised if someday you notice it's not there anymore.

Sophia, I love how you have reduced the level of products you use and purchase now in your make up range. The fact you have fewer makeup pallets now is so much better. Personally, I have two pallets and I replace them every two years, that way they stay fresh and the minerals and pigments don’t deteriorate. I do the same with blush and face powder, but I change my liquid foundation every year. I was taught by my mother who was a trained beautician not to wear out of date make up as it really damages the skin especially as we age. Just to let you know Sophia, pigmentation spots on the lips can be due to an overly high level of iron intake, so you may want to check you are not over consuming too many iron rich foods or drinks.
