My son in law was making his famous cookies on the cooking space in my kitchen. He kept moving over to another drawer to get the measuring spoons and asked why I didn’t put them in the drawer right where I do all my baking? Such a simple thing and it’s sooo much more efficient! Next visit he brought me new stainless steel measuring spoons and a cool new measuring cup !l

Oh I wouldn’t have ever heard the end of painting in the house without a yes from the ex even though the house needing painting when we moved in. I had to wait until the house was in my name only and boy I wish I had the courage to do it 16yrs ago! My kitchen is empty at the moment because I’m painting the cabinets a little lighter than Cas’ cabinets.

It was so hard this morning to get rid of my Omega juicer. I dropped it off at Goodwill this morning morning. Ive been feeling so much lighter and free. I bout a new juicer a few months ago. That I actually use, and love. ❤

My ceilings are very high and I cannot reach my top shelves so they are just stuffed with stuff I rarely use. It all has to go! The bonus is the local thrift store is advertising for kitchenware! So I can help them out!

Loving this series. Nothing to declutter today but I was able to make room in my cabinets by putting my Xmas stuff for Santa and the cookies in the Xmas box 😂. They’ve been in there since we moved here bc there wasn’t room in the Xmas tote(s) and I didn’t want to make another one just for those 3 items. Now there is as we’ve been decluttering. So now they can go where they belong.

Okay, you made me go to the place I hate. I have lower cabinets that are huge but have a tiny door so seeing anything or getting anything out is a pain in the patoot. I thought I had emptied these shelves due to the issues, but I just literally crawled in there and found a serving platter I thought I'd donated already. Thank you for this challenge. I am unearthing so much stuff I didn't realize I still had. =)
