We are opposites, lol. We are good friends to each other and partner well. Living with another though you learn what buttons to push or not, so like any other marriage we’ve had some rough patches. He livens things up and lightens them up most of the time. He gets bad moods too though but manages them well. lol

I enjoyed your decluttering. I am now putting anything out that I put on then take off straight away, no second chances. Having less is freeing for sure. Once the money has been spent it’s gone so don’t wear things you don’t like or agonise over it. Cute puppies. 🐶

I am in this process. A friend is helping me. I am making progress...very slowly. My mother grew up in Tennessee...in a little town in the mountains above Jellicoe. My great grandmother's log cabin is still there.

Loved this journey with you, you have great taste in blouses. :) I love yellow on you! I've been semi retired since 2013, my career choice was Administrative Asst at an institution of higher learning (Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA) so I too once upon a time had a closet full of nice blouses and outfits. With the many times hubby and I moved I got rid of a lot here and there. You're doing a great job, keep it up. Happy Belated Birthday, that was so funny when all the accountants couldn't figure out the "new" machine, lol! I'm sorry to hear about your leak, seems like it's always something as a homeowner. I lost 45 pounds last year and I was very thankful I had saved my smaller clothes for many years! I am enjoying passing on nice clothes to others.

You may want to buy new velvet hangers from Home Goods or Target. Game changer to get rid of wire and plastic hangers

Great work! You made huge progress (love the dogs helping!). Have you ever done Dressing Your Truth (dyt)? Just asking because I started with Marie Condo, then did Prohect 333 (never thought I could do that one), and then learned about dyt, which helped me to really find the colors and styles that work for me. It is not a color season thing, but is similar. I learned about dyt from Diane from Denmark here on KZbin. I know do dyt and project 333, have so few clothes, but love them all!

I heard that you put your clothes on hangers and when you wear them and wash you put them back on the hangers and put them in the closet backwards . . Anything that you have not worn in a month you should get rid of . I have bins in my closet with clothes that are many years old . I have been up and down the scale so I tend to keep them . Time for me to get rid of them . Have fun and good luck .
