I have two questions: 1- Do you recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner? 2- is it safe to use acetone on the white-bearing ball holder (the white plastic that holds the balls)?

1. Yes, it's great for bearing cleaning 2. NO. Don't use acetone or similar (paint thinner) solvent because it's too aggressive for nylon bearing cage. Also, it's going to be too aggressive for your ultrasonic cleaner plastic parts.

@@anas7hamed all depends on where cleaner will be used, because you don't want strong chemical vapors in the house you are living

@@anas7hamed you can use white spirit pretty safe on anything. It's now aggressive on plastic and good solvent to dissolve remaining oil and dirt. We use industrial solvents, but those are not available for retail customers. Clean with white spirit in ultrasonic cleaner. Use brake cleaner to clean remaining and prepare for lube. Oil or grease. Ready to roll.

If you really intended dual use concerning normal frame, both side has to be covered with rubber shield. In my second use, I can hear strange sound and almost impossible to remove the bearing shield 😢

I just got my iqon frames and iqon wheels. I spent more on these frames alone (before including the iqon wheels) than on my poweslide skates with frame included. I expected them to be an upgrade, but upon doing the spin test…the iqon fell far behind the powerslide. I figured since you can ONLY use iqon bearings to fit these frames/ wheels; they would be the best for the frames…I can’t even add a brake if I wanted. I was so excited. Now I’m extremely disappointed. I feel robbed, honestly.

True, after notice there’s a necessary to use they bearings I’m reluctant to get the frames. To not change the project of the frame, I think them can easy fix this, with an spacer between our bearing and the frame

Spin test on new bearings is not a useful measurement of quality, new bearings that haven't been used will not spin as freely as ones that have been used, that's normal and doesn't mean they are worse
